Player Opinions on a Combine Vampire: The Masquerade and Requiem Settings

Here's what I use for a Gangrel as a Warform. Don't know if this is useful to anyone here but I figured I'd throw it out there since people are trying to come up with a creature/"man" transformation. It's a devotion that basically creates a more powerful Dalu form.

Devotion: Chiropteran War Form
4 Protean
3 Vigor
3 Resilience

+2 Strength, Perception, Dexterity
+1 Size, Stamina and Intimidation
-2 to Frenzy and Manipulation
+4 to Speed

And all blows become lethal.

I don't think this is overpowered as there's a devotion in ancient mysteries that allows physical damage to become aggravated, stop moving cars, etc for 3 Resilience and 4 Vigor. The user also gains +2 armor with the devotion in ancient mysteries as well as ignoring target's durabilities. This also requires more disciplines to learn. It balances out, however, that wound penalties are ignored, more speed, and better stats. Downside is the chance to resist frenzy, lower manipulation rolls, it's a masquerade breach, and that's about it. My ruling is that it requires blood potency of atleast 5 and 3 vitae in order to activate it. Vigor and Resilience must already be activated in order to utilize the form but it lasts for the rest of the scene.

If you want to use a combat shapeshifting form this form can be edited as seen fit.

Well I am still working on this it’s just had some set backs, I have been working on the Clan, Sub-lineage, and bloodline system, having some problems with it but its getting there, we have currently 17 clans with an average of 3 lineages per clan and 1 bloodline.

7. Giovanni (6 – lineages, 1 – Bloodlines)
8. Lasombra (3 – lineages, 1 – Bloodlines)
9. Malkavian (3/4 – lineages, 1 – Bloodlines)
10. Nagaraja (0 – lineages, 0 – Bloodlines)
11. Nosferatu (3 – lineages, 1 – Bloodlines)
12. Ravnos (4/7 – lineages, 0 – Bloodlines)
13. Salubri (3 – lineages, 0 – Bloodlines)
14. Toreador (4/6 – lineages, 1/2 – Bloodlines)

Great to see this thing is still going on. I'll give a few short comments about what struck me when reading this.

Any reasons as to why they got into full Clan status insteed of being an independent bloodlines?

I don't get this at all. The Ventrue holds the aristocratic niche right? And from what I've gathered are quite obssessed by lineages and who can trace sires back to what famous Ventrue. Seems to me that they should have several different lineages, if not being one of the Clans with the most.

With Fascist I presume you mean authoritative? Fascism seems to get thrown around alot it at all matter of stuff, even when it might have little to do with the Fascists ideology.

            Its very simple actually, yes the Ventrue are obsessed by lineage unfortunately like the Tremere they have also systematically destroyed every bloodline or individual that deviated from there clans norm this would include any group of individual that would have formed a distinct lineage. (in oWoD anyway).

            We wanted to increase the numbers of clan within the setting, this left us with 3 options, upgrade a bloodline, import a clan from Requiem (Mekhet or Daeva), or create a completely new clan, originally we worked on several new clans, an Egyptian clan, an Eastern European Clan, and a Norse Clan. None of these really got to a point any of us wear happy with, so in the end we opted for a rework of a bloodline, the Nagaraja being rather unusual and having a number of different back-story from different editions seemed the obvious choice. Additionally they have fit in to the re worked history of oWod Very.

            Yes and No, they are basically former crusader knights with extremely hardliner views and authoritarian structure, they are partly responsible for some of the Nazis views as they used them to meat some of there objectives. They view themselves a superior to many other vampires, seeing some clans as degenerates of impure, the practice ritual diablerie and are extremely secretive, the ultimate goal is to destroy the Ventrue and Ventrue so they can take there rightful place (as they See it) as the masters of Vampire society.

 

It far more long winded than that boot this is a basic decrepit of them.
