Converting other RPGs into World of Darkness... sort of...

Anyway, here's the thing: My group loves the setting for Shadowrun, but we hate the rule system used. Everything just seems so complicated, so we'd like to try and convert it to World of Darkness rules.

I really do love Shadowrun as well, but I'm surprised you'd have that issue with the 4th edition of Shadowrun.  Actually, its interesting because the previous editions of Shadowrun were decidedly inspiration for the OWoD rules.  Then, when the NWoD was released, Shadowrun returned the favor and took quite a bit from it as well.

Shaking my head.. why mage? Honestly, Mage is a horrible game system and the way that they do that just... sickens me.. LOL Then again, im prejudiced against world of darkness Mage in general.

Maybe some kind of marriage at the halfway point between the systems? or rather, take what you like from each and use that?

I am actually considering doing just that for a new game im working on.. again.. just need players... again.. LOL
