*** Spoiler Alert ***

I'm just wondering if anyone has run this SAS and how did it pan out in the end in regards to Raphael Pope? Does he end up surviving and what part does he end up playing in a Chronicle? A very good SAS I might add...

Decided to reverse-engineer Raphael Pope; i.e. figure out how many experience points he has according to his write-up. Wow, he comes in at well over 1200 xp!!! Gonna have to change that, just in case he survives...

Raphael Pope is redone in the Immortal Sinners book. It gives a very detailed record of his history and why he is "the heritic". There are two sections of flavor text where he's talking with Eddie Vines, and another where he's groveling before Zygeus the Liar. Both..are very awesome.

I plan on using Raphael Pope in my game. The antagonists in my version of the Resurrectionsists will be Birch, and the Unholy (3 way craziness), except if the players play their cards right, they'll be able to wrangle Pope away and lead the other two on a dummy hunt (where they face each other instead).

Flavor text insires great amounts of great plagerism.

I believe Chuck Wendig wrote the fiction in that one, and it is, in fact, awesome. I wrote the version of Pope in Sinners. He's a fair bit weaker than the version in The Resurrectionists (because I thought he was a little too potent, too), and there's suggestions on why he might be more potent during the story than he is afterward. He also gets a new toy in the form of what is, to my knowledge, the only published Theban Sorcery/Cruac Devotion.

So check it out if you get the chance. The write-up of Pope is the least of the cool stuff that's in there.

I'm gonna have to check that out now; don't have that book yet...

I was concerned what would happen if at the end of the SAS, Pope survives and another Bloodhunt is called on him. He's one tough nut to crack by his original write-up. I've mostly figured out the who and the why, regarding Pope, for my potential Chronicle. What I don't know is what the players might do, or how that would affect the Chronicle. I couldn't imagine that the powers-that-be would be too happy about him coming back...
