Ideas for dealing with a lawn covered in blood and gore?

A bit of back story: to stop the Brood from irreparably breaking the Masquerade, my coterie used an ancient ritual to put all vampires in the city into torpor. A few vampires were informed beforehand, fled, and came back. My coterie stayed, and I (as a ghoul), woke them up with an elder's blood. Later, I was embraced. In total, there are 8 awake vampires in new york city, plus a few stragglers waking up or coming in.

Funny problem we forgot: the city is now full of ghouls starving for blood. We drive by Elysium, to see 8 armed ghouls trying to break in. I try to wait until they actually break in, so we can take them inside... but a coterie member frenzies on a ghoul with protean 1, so that didn't work out. They start firing assault rifles, I did some stabby stabby...

Long story short, we now have a lawn covered in corpses, and the cops are on their way. The coterie member with majesty is also the one who frenzied, and is in torpor. We moved all the bodies inside, but there is still a lawn covered in blood and gore, and I'm dripping with it. My remaining awake buddy can dominate, but not an entire police dispatch.

Any ideas for how to salvage this? We cut after that, but the next session is tonight. My ST texted me with "Figured out how to deal with a gore-strewn lawn?" My only thought is maybe obfuscating the lawn, but I'd have a huge penalty to do so.

Forgetful mind is also useful if someone has it. Tell the cops exactly what they saw here

We have a bit of attachment to Elysium

Might work, but it takes quite a while, and there may potentially be a lot of cops. Would've worked better if we had the Daeva to keep them all occupied.

If I didn't care about other people (and by people I mean vampires) in New York City, I'd have done that a long time ago.

I would bust open a fire hydrant or find a source of water.  Depending on how thick the lawn is most of the blood and smaller bits will soak in niceley.  You can blow slightly larger bits into the drainage nearby perhaps.  For the larger pieces (limbs) either put them with the bodies of obfuscate them.  You might also look into creating a diversion to lead the cops off, maybe a distraction using Majesty or create some kind of unignorable crime that will lead them away so that you can do a more through cleanup.

Hope that helps!

Can you make it look like a mass murder/suicide?

If you're not willing to go the distance, then that's your problem.   Pretty much every scenario is going to involve something squeamish, and you can always rebuild.

Even if you mind wipe every cop that arrives, how are you going to deal with camera in each car?

There are no perfect solutions here.   Time to decide exactly what's important, then cut off all the dead weight and make some sacrifices.

Leave all the bits, alter the available evidence to implicate someone or something else. Someone who you think could stand to have the entire police department involved in their day to day business for the remainder of the game.

As a side note, that would be an awesome text to see out of context.

Thanks for the ideas guys. This is how it ended up breaking down:

The main issue was that one of my coterie mates used an AK, and someone called about gun shots. Everyone else had melee or silenced weapons.

1) My remaining coterie member shot out the lights around the building.
2) I took the AK, went a half-block away, and sprayed into cars. Gas pooled from one of the cars, and I threw a lighter in. So, burning cars. I went another half-block away and left the AK on the street.
3) I obfuscated the lawn (ST ruled it was -10)

Dozens of police cars showed up, and made a bee line for the burning cars and AK on the street. They completely missed elysium. While they were distracted, another vampire showed up to show us how to turn on the sprinklers outside (which washed the blood away), and how to turn off the floodlights (btw, we need to replace the light bulbs). I showered, they picked up entrails off the lawn. Besides for the one straggling cop, it went pretty well (though maybe not to the level of detail/realism I might've expected).

I've seen sloppier fixes. It sounds like it went pretty well considering the size of the Cluster F*ck.

Take off, nuke the site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure...

Personally? I would shot myself in the chest or stomach and played dead. Then all the cops have is a pile of dead bodies, and no real leads. Especially if ya got the obfuscate to hide a yard in NYC, cause that means ya probably have the obfuscate ya need to slip out of a morgue. When people are left to draw their own conclusions, they don't generally do a good job of it.

With the described kindred population (numbering 8 individuals) ya probably don't have the man power or really the need, to maintain an elysium any way. Really, it's going to continue to be a focal point for the hold overs from the last era. The starving ghouls that couldn't fight the urge and needed to be fed right that very second are just the tip of the iceberg here, though they probably offer the most breach-tastic concerns of the bunch.
