I read the first book and only finished out of a perverse hope that Bella would get killed. Then my wife picked up the book, and loved it, I was sent to the bookstore the next day to pick up the rest of the series, then I had to listen to her tell me about the series, then I had to buy the movie, then I had to watch the damn movie, now I have been told I am going to go see the next friggan movie. I always knew somehow a mormon would ruin my life. 

Hehe, just do what I did: Watch it with its Riff Tracks (funny as hell) or just imagine the vampires in the movie running afoul vampires from WoD. Boy howdy did I like the thought of the whole vampire "family" being punished for violating the masquerade. Or having real were wolves chew them to peices...

No crucifixion, maybe just a nice flogging and then home for tea.

I said the same thing to my group after seeing that leap change.

But now after seeing the full clip, that biatch deserves to be eaten.

and because it can't be said enough, VAMPIRES DO NOT SPARKLE!!!!!!

I can happily say that I have not read, nor seen, nor have any double X chromosome companions (or gay buddies) clamoring to expose me to the Twilightverse :)
