looking for players for online scion game

I updated the Houserules, and added the stunts houserule.
Furthermore I added the houserule for Hel, as I don't see anything speaking against Hel having that purview (I only say she is called ice queen for a reason).

I just realised that my character has two relics for illusion purviews yet none for my sky one, so the coin which gives illusion i'm going to change to something which gives sky, if that is cool with you? Dunno what yet, need to do the research on something suitable

I'll post all approved chars in the start post of the thread (then we have all importang things combined in one post)

Are we all starting the game knowing each other and having relationships? Because if we aren't, the simple of fact of being a Scion and who's our parent, calling, etc should be revealed in game.

As standard I'll take that you don't know each other (or at maximum from seeing the other ones from afar).

I'd imagine most people in the biology section will 'know' my character or at least know of my character due to me grabbing them in the corridors for biology discussions

Well,i'm a barman at a local pub, right near campus added to that I have an Irish accent, I might be pretty recognisable ;)

if there is still room for another player I would be quite interested. Honestly I have never tried role-playing via IRC and English is also just a second language for me but I would give it my best.

Regarding the character I would play I can be quite flexible and adjust to what concepts are already represented in the troupe. A couple of ideas out of my head would be:

1. A social worker taking care of the trouble kids who is also giving martial arts classes in the evening. Basically the classical big, strong but very nice guy with a big brother complex who is mainly motivated by helping and protecting "his charges".
2. Owner of a gothic night club near the University who dreams of building up his own little crime syndicate. This character would be way more sinister and manipulative than 1 and of ambiguous morale.
3. Young student of physiology and economics from a troubled family. Very cunning guy who found his own way to pay for his living by coning other people and selling “goods of high demand” on the campus. Not really a bad person but trying always to be on the winning team, even if it means switching once in a while.

 

If none of the concepts fit I could also come up with something different. It would be great to know the other players concepts (at least the human ones) tough before going into the details.

 

Please let me know if I could still make it into the group.

Astragon: I planned for 4-6 players, so there is still a free place    Welcome in ;)

Dark: We will do the visitations as flashbacks during the game....over a few sessions (so we don't have the problem
that we have to wait until all visitations are finished till we start the game).

If one of you guys wants to make the visitation in one go, then let me know, I'll try to find a date (before the first game)
where we can do this then.


One more optional thing:
For social knacks do you guys want to use the rules as they are, or do you want to use the 'dice-roll' house rule?
(where dices are rolled for each social knack instead of some socials being automatically successfull.)

So, at the moment who's in?
