the Hundred Acre Wood is a realm within Arcadia, one of twisted innocence. the Keeper there is known only as Christopher Robin. and the durance of this place makes for many unusual beasts chief amongst the mortals twisted into changeling child playthings is Winnie the pooh: a Truefriend beast who is described as "a bear of very little brain" it is doubtful that pooh even remembers who he was before but he doesn't seem to dwell on such.
other inhabitants of this realm include
Piglet: a cowardly tunnelgrub with the appearance of a pig.
Rabbit: a flowering with a preference for carrots.
Eeyore: a Darkling possibly the only one who remembers where he came from, but doesn't like it there enough to go back.

and so on....

I would almost say that Christopher is just a foolish mortal that likes to play there, and is in the process of becoming fae himself.  The keeper is the Hundred Acre Wood itself, a distant Keeper that doesn't interfere with its slaves--He's twisted them and their insanities to watch each other, counter each other, even recapture each other.

Meanwhile, nearer to the human world, there is a small tribe of hobs, who war with a slightly larger tribe of hobs.  Compared to humans, both of these races are tiny.  However, the smallest look up at their enemies with fear--to them, they are giants.  The smaller race is carefree, with very few morals--They have enslaved an even yet smaller race of hobs, and force them to build structures only to eat them.  Though the tiniest hobs are not intelligent to their standards, they weep and rage at the monsters that devour their cities.  But such is the way of Fraggle Rock.  The Fraggles devour the cities of the builders, and the Fraggles are eaten by their giant kin.  They are all friends with an old hobgoblin--A poor old woman that would've been a Manikin Blightbent Elemental, had she gotten through the gateway of the Hedge soon enough.  Instead, the Trash heap collapsed into a pile just at a gateway.  As do most elementals, she gives her judgement and wisdom to the little Fraggles, because they are her only real friend.
Life itself is only a vision.. a dream.. nothing exists, save empty space and you.. and you.. are but a thought..

There's a Dark and Twisted City somewhere in the hedge that was spawned from the sketch book of an Artist who dropped it in the Hedge. The doodles in the Sketchbook began to tear themselves free from the Pages and become the chaotic hobgoblin inhabitants of this sketched out city that they refer to as the Cool World. One particular Hobgoblin that was spawned from image of a beautiful Dancer has become the violent leader of a gang of other doodle hobs. She poses as a Fairest named Hollie Would in order to fool unsuspecting changelings into trusting her until she has her way with them and "inks" them out of the picture. Her main objective is to become find a mythic token she calls the Spike in order to leave the Cool World and transform herself into a True Fae so she may turn Earth into a playground for the violent Doodle Hobgoblins.

a hobgoblin parasite has latched onto a changeling during a passage though the hedge, and is quickly consuming his glamor.  if the changeling should run dry, the parasite will begin taking health and willpower until the changeling is dead, and something terrible will flower from his corpse.  There is a wizened chirurgeon that can extract the parasite, but he's on the other end of town and you'll need constant infusions of glamor just to survive the trip.  Of course, everything that can go wrong, will go wrong.

Inspired by the movie 'Crank'

I've always thought the Secret Garden could make a good Changeling story.
Mary Lennox escapes her durance as the adopted but neglected child of her keeper "Parents" when an earthquake causes the gaudy mockery of India that serves as their realm to fall apart around them. Lord Craven is the winter king of Mistlethwaite manor, a freehold locked in depression and sadness. Colin, the fairest treasured boy who has never been allowed outside. Dicken would fit a few of the requirements for a beast quite well. Medlock would make a fine dual kith GristleGrinder-Chatelaine. There are strong themes of Spring overcoming winter throughout the whole story as well. Toss in the Garden being connected to the hedge (or moor as the characters may call it) and you have some potential.
