since tomorrow's the day of the dead...

With tomorrow being the Day of the Dead, are we going to get any online goodies for Geist?  A new SAS, an article on running a Wake, a write up on a few new ceremonies, etc?

I woke up this morning with the same anticipation I had on Christmas day when i was 8 years old; I quickly logged into Amazon and checked Book of the Dead...

Deflated, I read that it is still available for pre-order. 

I really thought today would be the day...

Seems to me that's a cop-out considering Geist is the new game and features the Day of the Dead so heavily.  There really should be something Geist specific put out to commemorate it's first Day of the Dead :P

I thought the same, we should start an online support group for those of us who are experiencing this. I was really hoping to see it released on Dia de Los Muertos...

Eh...I think it was just a timing thing. It just happen to come out at this time.

Up until Saturday 10/31, which is the last time I checked, Amazon was showing a release date of October 2009.  Hence my excited anticipation.  December... lame.

Given that RPGs generally have their release dates on Wednesdays, expecting it to be released on any day other than that, and with no mention from White Wolf, is a bit of a risk. Delays happen, especially in the gaming industry, so no need to be upset by a months delay.

Hell, you should see the release schedule for some of the other RPG companies. I think FFG is about 3-4 months late on Dark Heresy releases last time I checked.
