Always sleep with hideous old men and women, because they usually turn into extremely attractive people (or give you money).

Hah, just joking.

On a more serious note, I've learned that people almost always have justifications for things.  That person who becomes an absuer was often abused.  People often feel that what they do is justified, supported by what they have been through.  Even the strangest habits and eccentricities come from somewhere.

Apparently I'm willing to do anything to prove myself. Oh, and power. Power's always a nice bonus. But it's all for self-defence, really.

And I'm unable to resist mysteries. But I already knew that.

I was going to put my own in the initial post, but figured it would be better if I stayed silent at first. Let others chime in.

I'm continually learning from this one character that it's better to punch terror in the face, than live in fear. The man or woman that can do that is extremely powerful. The one who cowers believes that will keep them safe, but that doesn't always work. The best way to stay safe is through courage.

I also learned that the brave one's biggest enemy is not the cowardly, but the cynical.
