It's just gotten bigger, too, now that they're including women and overseas members.

That's true.  there's just something kinda cool about having all tracked and written down, though.

Yeah, that trumps my family tree.

I am a product of the Huckabee family (which includes Mike Huckabee, the Presidential candidate from last year at 4th, 5th or 6th cousin - can't remember off the top of my head), the Campbells from Scotland and the Hollands (which is a nigh impossible family name to trace) and the Earnests who date back to 1602 as the Ernst family in Switzerland. There is a small organization devoted to keeping track of all the Earnests and we interact with the Ernst family (and descendents) in Switzerland. Some family of mine went over there a few years back and spent a week with distant family and attended services at the family church that still stands today.

But yeah, Confucious trumps me hardcore, lol.

i think that Genghis khan has more descendants world wide, there is a family tree i would hate to trace though.
still, Confucius is a pretty damn awesome ancestor to have.

I haven't been able to connect my family tree.... I need to see if my dad still has that one that he showed me when I was younger....

My Mom did some family tree stuff a while back.  So far, we can trace our family tree back to the 1600s in Norway.  They were somewhat successful farmers (not to thrilling, I know).  Still, its fun to know where you came from.

Ooh yeah, the Mongols.  I was once classmates with a descendant of Kublai Khan.  It was kind of an interesting meeting.
