Giving people a magical mark that shows they owe allegiance to you, however, shouldn't be a "Solar only" tool. It should be something that not just Exalts can do, but that anyone can do - even spirits, demons, etc. That's why I think it would work better as a Sorcery spell than a Solar charm.

I fully agree that others should have the ability.  I fully intend to make both a spell and an artifact to do this.  However Solars are about ruling empires, leading people and in game, are the ones carving out new empires.  I can fully see a charm that does it being suitable and appropriate.  After all, it's not just sorcerers that need/want to mark their property.

Good job with Enduring Mountain Method, Unbreakable Warrior's Mastery is finally worth buying on the off chance you can't just perfect the effect that was about to cripple you.

Mechanically I still have issues though. Even as an innate power, 5m 1w is a large cost for the chance to make a roll to prevent the crippling effect. You really want to have an excellency comboed in there, and EMM does not provide for that. I would have liked EMM to allow UWM to be activated post suffering the Crippling effect in order to overcome it, and/or simply preventing the Crippling effect upon activation without a roll.

I am also going to have to throw my vote in with those opposed to Dragon Riding Meditation, needing a charm to effect my familiar with ride charms that can effect a normal example of that animal seems counter intuitive, as well as the negative implications for other exalt types who lack a DRM analog.

Mostly I think an exact copy of it isn't really thematic for large sections of the Exalted, and some of the others have their own version already. The closest to a nation building Charm set for an Infernal is Cecelyne, and something like this would be meaningless. You don't need someone to speak for you, you hear the prayers of all your followers and can answer and bless them at will. Real gods do not delegate, they control everything....utterly. Dragon Blooded aren't innately that powerful. They may have the reins now, but they aren't designed to. Having insanely well developed abilities to control nations seems....more impersonal and larger in scope than what they are designed for. They weren't supposed to be the people that rule, they are the people who the rulers have institute their plans. Lunars well, the glowing shit doesn't seem quite right. I don't know off the top of my head what I'd give them, but not that. Something like it for a Steward, certainly. Not that exactly though, which a spell pretty much locks in to being something that applies to large sections of people universally. Sidereals? Totally not their scene, they have a job. Their job is defending Creation, and the Loom. Why do they need to have people speak on their behalf? Nobody should even know who they are.

We basically agree.

Solars do need something like this. But it should actually bestow more on the person than just a cool visual effect - if it's only a visual effect, then it should be a Terrestrial Circle spell and open to (nearly) anyone to learn. If it's a charm however, it should also give the target a meaningful mechanical benefit (such as, whenever someone under the charms effect glows, they also gain a bonus on all bureaucracy rolls, or something). Unfortunately the mechanical effects the charm actually gives should really have be in a different tree.

That's pretty much my problem with the charm in a nutshell.

If you feel it needs a benefit, how about this?

Copy the Mice of the Sun ability.  It's solar-themed, so it makes sense.  The person with the symbol can spend 1 WP (or 3 motes, if they have enlightened essence) to automatically get a general sense of what you would want them to do in their current situation.  It has very obvious utility for Solars who want to delegate.

That's funny, there is a special DB charm that does this. It's also in Bureaucracy

Checking the rules on Untouchable Purpose (the only perfect defense the Unconquered Sun has after he's suppressed his Temperance), is it possible to defend against multiple attacks?  If not normally, what about with Principle of Motion?

So the Ebon Dragon caused the Ignis Divine to be lit up into a blazing form that greatly increased the Ebon Dragon's power as he became the shadow of everything at that moment.

So obviously the Fetich that is now Ligier wasn't bright enough for that to happen. Perhaps the golden glow is brighter than the green, blue, red or whatever colour Ligier-that-Was, was.

But 5-Days-Darkness is the shadow of the Unconquered Sun... so perhaps the brightness of Ligier-that-Was was enough to make the Unconquered Sun have a shadow.

Interesting. Does this have any implications?

Have Fun...

Or perharps the light that brought the UCS' shadow into existence was his own, reflected by a mirror - if that mirror was black or not, that's another matter.

Perhaps Ligier's light was TOO MUCH to make shadows.

Haven't read the whole thread but I'm gonna pop in to say I liked just about everything.  The only dissapointment that comes to my mind is Rising Sun Slash--which was underwhelming for what it was supposed to be.  Only unblockable, really?

Short answer: If you are E5, with PPE and GttMH, then in order to use your Yozi Charms, you must first turn on GttMH for the day. Then you can access your Yozi Charms. Otherwise, they're locked up with the rest of your E6 toys. Yes, this does mean you're hitting yourself with the Limit-stick twice every time you go after them.

How did you intend for PPE use to interact with Permanent and Indefinite charms?
Using the term "invoke" rather than "activate" seems to hint that a character with Mind-Hand Manipulation would have to pay a limit in every scene she invokes the power of the charm (IE uses telekinesis) and not just in the scene she activates it. This seem a bit odd with permanent powers though, since some improve core capabilities, such as run speed or health levels and some have permanent weaknesses (Running to forever for example). Or am I over-analyzing the choice of words?
