So this is supposed to be 3-5 instead of 8. It's nice that this was brought up there, it's already in the errata thread, no need for me to copy paste anything.

Holden:

(Still, if you fuck things up badly enough that all five Maidens have to weave fate manually for a week, Severity 8 wouldn't be too far off the mark...)

I'd be interesting to see what Severity 8 is... Do you get dropped on the moon for a decade?

We've seen the moon now.  It'd be far worse.

Though I never really bought the 'Imprisoned in X for X years' punishments.  I mean, the point is that there are never enough Sidereals.  The best way to discipline one is horrifying and torturous work, not trapping him in a mountain for years.
Where am I going? I don't know!
When will I get there?  I ain't certain!
What'll I do?  I ain't equipped to say!

No, we've seen the tame parts of the moon. I'm talking about the barren places filled with luna's dreams and subject to being in deep wyld, everyday.

Thanks for the clarification.

What happens when an unexpected attack supplemented by Death from Nowhere Method is rendered expected via use of charms such as Reflex Sidestep Technique?

If it's not unexpected by the time it gets to step 10, I'd say you get no benefit.

Should Shedding Infinite Radiance be Integrity 4, Essence 2 instead of the other way around?

Integrity 2, Essence 4 is a bit odd . . . and it's especially odd with Righteous Lion Defense (Integrity 3) as a prereq.

...god dammit again.

If I remember right, I originally had it at Integrity 5, E4, then said to myself, "well, you don't need to be an ABSOLUTELY UNASSAILABLE bastion of self to get a buffed anima, especially since some of these are intended to shore up animas that are crappy by default, like the Dawn Caste." And I lowered it without checking the stats on the prereq.

Which means it's effectively Integ 3 thanks to RLD. >_<

The obvious solution is to errata RLD to only require Integrity 2!

Yet another thing to add to the errata thread !

And to answer your previous question : what eclipse goodies, the reiforced anima from Shedding Infinite Radiance ? I positively love how the ED gets fucked over by some obscure clause. The irony, it burns.
The ability to turn into a "god" and pass judgement on other is pretty fun. if there's a sorcerer, make him botch his next control roll. There are a lot of rolls that will get you a terrible terrible effect if you botch. It also re-opens a nastyu combo I heard, back in 1E. use a massive social combo to commit someone to an ideal, then when he is all riled up, get him to swear an Oath. When he decide to go back to what he was doing, paf! eclipse sanction, and you chose all the botch to be in his defense againstyour next re-brainwashing.
I like how it allows you to make a Sidereal's Duck Fate fail.

I want to say that the Canticle for Hop has just risen to the top of my list of favorite things from Glories (not top as in first place, but it's up there). A power for NPC to send magical S.O.S to the players. That's a wonderful plot hook and tool for a Solar building his kingdom.

I meant the Charms from the Eclipse Abilities, but thanks ^_^

And yeah, I love A Canticle for Hope. Both as an effect and as, I think, my favorite effect name in the whole book.

Another Stealth Errata :

Glories : Unconquered Sun ; p.39:
Because their attacks are Holy in nature, prayer pieces fail to function when wielded by creatures of darkness.
Creatures can't use any Holy artifact, that's official.

Also I think I spotted a typo :
Glories : Maidens ; p.15:
Extant unnatural influence temporarily abates in the presence of a greater shiel
That's supposed to read "existant" right ?

Har, extant be a real word.  It means roughly the same thing as 'existent', and is much more efficient.

I actually find "existant" to be a clumsy word, and suspect it to be a late addition to the language based on people misspeaking and improperly using it (a then non-word) in place of the actual word, "extant." It has, however, been added, much as "ain't" has been.

So is it supposed to be Integrity 4 and Essence 3, or Integrity 2 (actually 3) with Essence 4?

I seem to recall a Snake Style Charm that has a strange prerequisite with higher minimums somewhere...

Actually I'm pretty sure it's from French. Same spelling, same sense.
