Glories: An End to Darkness

I have only started to peak at part Glories, but I couldn't resist looking through the Astrological Charms, and An End to Darkness really confused me? How does this charm work with a limited duration? You convince Liger that being a god would be really awesome, poke him with a Fated weapon, activate An End to Darkness and Malfeas the Demon City suffers the equivalent of a fetish death (Will Creation get a second sun?) and becomes something different, probably lessend. Then a weak passes, the charm ends and... what? Liger becomes a rogue Third Circle demon without a Yozi? 

I think it's a week long process.

It's an error. The Duration should be "Instant."

An End to Darkness was originally going to be a Charm that messed with Resonance gain over a limited duration, then I got a better idea for what to do with that College. And apparently I forgot to change the Duration entry.

Question- can consent come from UMI? If I make a third circle demon inside fate- blast him with Servitude UMI that makes him consent to anything I ask and then hit him with An End to Darkness, does that work?

If it does all I need is to find a working charm to make him consent to anything I ask...

This Charm is the opposite of the akuma process. Instead of fusing a new element into the soul hierarchy, you're ripping a piece out. Thus, the demon really truly needs to consent. You can persuade them naturally, but you can't make them do it. That's completely against the spirit of the Charm and not ok for the setting.

This makes me wonder if you can De-akuma someone with this charm?

Can you use UMI as long as it's not tagged as Compulsion or Servitude? e.g. Droning Suggestion on an otherwise totally-NMI social attack?

Blocking the ability to choose yes is just as detrimental to the Charm's function as blocking the ability to say no.
