Nephilpal:I realized that what the Maidens do is define fate. They aren't warping it with their presence like Primordial Charms or bending it like Sidereal Charms are. They are saying "This is how it's going to be."
Nephilpal:Is this an aesthetic preference or is there a reason for this?
Nephilpal: Plague of Hats:Can it be safely assumed that the increased Willpower cost to resist due to this Charm maxes out at 5wp? This is usually made explicit in these types of Charms. The rule is actually spelled out in the core, I think.

Nephilpal: Plague of Hats:Perfection Beyond Imagining and Aegis of Unconquered Might: I honestly expected the Sun's perfection in things he did to be a bit more casual. This puts the burden of being super badass primarily on his invincibility rather than his epic puissance. With regards to "the Sun could best a Primordial if not for the divine geas," this seems unlikely now. I'm a bit confused. He has an ultimate excellency that can ensure he hits and an infinite damage weapon. That means all he needs is to take advantage of a flaw (if he knows it) for the one shot kill. Or, he can just stand there and wail on the jouten until it dies of Essence exhaustion, utterly ignoring its own attacks.

Plague of Hats:But if that titan has a behemoth-like mote pool, it's got plenty of resources to mote tap the Sun with "bad touches"
Nephilpal:Don't you get it? The radiant effects are her Essence infusing that space. It's another form of shapeshifting. That's why she can define the mutations.
Nephilpal: Plague of Hats:Cosmological Constant: This is the kind of casual perfection I expected the Sun to have. So contast this and what the sun got. Are you happy with it?

Nephilpal:No comment on Mercury's power?
Sojko: Plague of Hats:But if that titan has a behemoth-like mote pool, it's got plenty of resources to mote tap the Sun with "bad touches"You do realize that His Aegis makes Him totally immune to any bad touch that could exist, right ?
Plague of Hats: Sojko:You do realize that His Aegis makes Him totally immune to any bad touch that could exist, right ?Hm, I forgot/skipped that. I'm not sure I like that.

Sojko:That's straight out "if the effect is nefast to the Sun, it is negated", not much wriggle room. I agree that it seriously limit the possible conflicts with the Sun, get him to suppress Temperance or lose. It's not too bad, He is Unconquered for a reason, after all.
thinker:Well I guess the first question is why do they like the material presented in HFFoE better than Glories?
deathmatchfm:They like the mechanics better
Epimetheus: deathmatchfm:They like the mechanics better I think glory to the most high is actually a lot more balanced than plague's version. No offense to plague but it's much more interesting and it still validates the age cap.
