Including any clarification or errata for White Reaper Style? Or can we beg for that to come sooner?

I'm sorry to nag -- I won't bring it up again.

I'm pretty sure they said Alchemicals has been done for a while, long before you started pointing out places where you'd like clarification :p

I've always assumed that they carried a bunch of books, scrolls, memory crystals, etc. with them when they left and, among all that, was info about the various styles.

Personally, my main question about MA in Autochthonia is if an Alchemical Hero Style is even possible.  My inclination is to say probably not, but Holden and Neph are really good at this sort of thing.

Primordials can't learn martial arts.
Oh, no, that's sad.

I already figured some hapless Solar getting Crack-the-Sky-punched in the face with a layer of Malfeas, then getting up

Wasn't there a list of styles common among the Alchemicals in 1e Exalted: Autochtonians? I remember a mention of Ebon Shadow at least, as i based some bits of plot in its existence on Autochtonia in fact.

Okay, so now I have a question for the forum.

Where does White Reaper Style come from?

For years and years and years I have had it in my head that it goes back to the 1e Lunars opening fiction, where Lilith uses it to kill Jorst and Ahn-Aru. Except it's totally not there. The first reference to it that I can actually find is in the History section of ch1 of the 2e Lunar book.

But I'd known about White Reaper Style for years by that point, and associated it with Lilith. And when I saw it again there I said "aha! White Reaper mentioned again!"

So where the hell was it originally mentioned? I still have no idea.

If it wasn't mentioned for the first time in the Old Lunars book, then I have no idea. That's where I first found it.

By the way, I'm not complaining or anything, but I feel the need to point out that -- given the now-established nature of White Reaper Style -- it doesn't seem like a good choice to use against a terrestrial god and a Sidereal. Unless Yorst called in some guards for Lillith to power-up on, there would have been only two enemies to kill.

RSB's post about Lilith beating down Jorst and Sad Ivory.  One of them, anyway.  It should be on the unofficial Wiki's writerquotes page.  Presumably, later authors decided to work it in by mention as an easter egg, and now, here it is.

That's it.

What a long, strange journey.
