Bailywolf:
As Wood sayeth, the commandment from on high was to do something different with them
Actually, the commandment was from Wood. Having Dampyrs in the book was my idea.

No, I'm not too big to seize credit. I am that small and petty.

Yerk - sorry, as I meant to say, "Wood's commandment from on high was..."

I'll castigate myself in my cell for the weekend, taking no nourishment but bread and thin sour wine... and possibly a hotdog.

Damn, the 70' version is the one that got me in terror stories and comics - and he was a jazz man to boot. ;-)

No need for Evil Clone Vampire Blade (remember that Wood?) playing at real Blade.
I am not old enough to remember that first time around, but I do have the Tomb of Dracula collection with that story in. It's very silly and fun.

In Brazil the rights to the Tomb of Dracula material exchanged hands - and got republished - two or three times back at the 80's. One of those after they lost the rights even published a copycat, possibly mixed with some Master of the Kung Fu pastiche along the way, under another name. Some very, very silly and fun stuff.

wow, alright. Something is clearly wrong with my computer, as this is the second time my browser window completely screwed up. Sorry again guys. I'm gonna post on a different computer until I figure out what's going on.

Well, good for you then, because I wanted them in Requiem.  (Though I did do my own while I was waiting, which seem to be rather different from these).

So we have damphirs and non-kindred undead in the book - anything else juicy?

Well, let me see, these are the current critters:
- Strix
- Jiang Shi
- Larvae
- Dampyrs

Anything more?

Something called Cymothoa Sanguinaria, which is presumably related to this hideous little abomination.

So, theres a handful of beasts. But thats a 160 page book, I'm sure theres more than that.

There are (I think) 16 entries in the book. The shorter ones are in the "Truth" section, and the four fleshed-out ones (including the Strix, the Dampyr and the Larvae) are in the "Consequences" section.

Will there be info on Chinese kindred in the Jiang Shi section?
