the "Exaltification" Thread

Think this guy can become a Full Moon, tattoos and all?  That would rock!

I don't know how to put a thumbnail in here, but can this fellow be turned into a Fiend Caste with a gun instead of a sword?  Or just a Fiend Caste?

First off, let me say how cool I think this thread is in general, and good work to all of you who are actually doing the work.

Second, I have a request for any of you who think you'd be up to it. Could you take this picture and do the following:

1. Make his sword look like Orichalcum
2. Take the scars off of the face if possible
3. Change the red circle thing on his chest into a Dawn caste mark

Any other touches are up to your discretion - the more awesome the better.

 

actually scratch my last request on the day cast.....the pic already done. I am content with the two puics I requested earlier in the thread( I think between pg 39-45) other then that lets keep the pics coming

Well, Abyssal Day Caste blademaster ahead...

I've already used this particular picture as a solar, ages ago (you can find it in the first post of this thread), but after that guy in the desert received 3 or 4 versions, I'm not ashamed! As you requested (grumph!) she has a light blade (at least by Exalted standarts) that I modified from the original. I made her souldsteel armor and blade in the same style of reflected skulls that you seem to like and added that skull to her armor chest.

By the way, in case you wanna compare with the Solar one in the first page, may as well check out the differences with the original picture:

I'm looking for some sort of endings caste that has a penchant for VBoS MA, and as many of the following characteristics as possible: body tattoos, caucasian tone, lavender eyes, and black hair (not long enough to hang down his back or anything)

Well, I had just about the perfect picture, except for the long hair. I managed to get it shorter, but it is still neck, maybe shoulder length. Anyway, changed hair to black and clothes to a more purple/violet tone (endings, after all). The guy is crouched over what seems to be a chinese astrology map (as I said, pretty much a perfect sidereal), but I had to erase the chinese Signs in there. The eyes are not very noticiable, but are now in the right color. Also added the Caste Mark and some rainbow reflections where I figured would be light over Starmetal. Here, the original and modified for comparison:

Finally, I'd like an opinion. I want to do something with this amazing work by Shilin, but I'm not sure what to do. I'm thinking either Night Solar or Serenity Sidereal. Any preferences? Or other possibilities?

So I have found a pic for Suses Kala commander of the Wolf's Talon( named as she loved those predatory animals as a kid). This defector from the Chenow household disgusted by the houses' perchant for brutality is a water aspect of average breeding with hair lightly tinted a bluish green of the sea. Her anima banner as told by those lucky few who survive the battles where she uses it is described as a raging hurricanewith her at its eye. She carries a black jade short daiklaive and a blue jade plate  (stolen from her house). 

about sesus Kala, hmmm
water aspect can have raging huricane as anima? I have done all the armor, blade & hair, but I still unsure bout the anima....

ok I admit it the new one wins. just with the soulsteel look and since she is a rival with the other it works perfectly. (hey the same ghost artificer built them...it works)

As you may have noticed, my rythm has increased again. It so happens that bus drivers are at a strike here in Florianópolis, so no class and many times I end my trainings earlier due to lack of people for me to teach...but on the bright side, more time for hobbies such as Exaltification!

      That's an amazing picture. Not exactly what I had in mind but it looks even better than what I was invisioning! The lavender tint in the robes really makes a difference and the castemark looks amazing, contoured to his skin very well. I'll definitely put it to use right away. Thank you danelsan.
      I'm not very knowledgeable on chinese astrology maps or whatever but that symbol he's kneeling on reminds me of one of the many shapes/formations/images depicted in the Beijing Olympics's opening ceremony. Very cool.

Have you considered a secrets siddy? I'm not sure why, but she doesn't come off as a Joybringer to me, and she doesn't seem assassin'ish enough to be a night caste either. That's just my opinion though.
