ooooooooooo. Well do what you can with the anima. If a hurricane does not work but some other epic water related thing does say a water spout(tornado over water kind) for example go with that. I can adjuast my own fluff with ease.

 

What I meant about the anima earlier is: for a water aspect isn't it a bit strange for her anima to be raging hurricane (air phenomenon), so just checking if it's right or not. The picture however show her with waterspout.

I wonder if you guys ever use chosen of journey? I think serenity, secret, war & ending is a popular one. But for 48 page, I never encountered somebody who requested chosen of journey?

That's an amazing picture. Not exactly what I had in mind but it looks even better than what I was invisioning!

You see, I have an enourmous amount of pictures in my computer and I'm always like "Oh! That one would make an awesome [Exalted related thing]!" but I'll probably never get around to doing them all - I see something, then think how much work that would be, or how busy I'm - and then it is "I WILL do it...later...eventually" and a lot of stuff keeps waiting for the right moment of inspiration. I had this one waiting to become "probably a sidereal" for years! Luckly you asked for just the right thing to start my engine into modifying this particular picture!

Interesting. The green glow would make a nice contrast in this picture, and I was in fact worried that the golden or light blue Caste Mark would disapear in all this luminosity...hmm...gotta give this option more thinking...cause, you know, one can't go trusting gypsies without being careful ^__^

Gotta say, the artist from SC IV is ridiculously good! The reflections in the armor of this girl and that Siegfried that I turned into Abyssal are amazing! And have you guys seen Cervantes? Always my favorite character from the Soul Blade/Edge/Calibur series, there is no way I'm not gonna make the SC IV version into an Abyssal or Infernal pirate lord  : -D

I do have a journeys planned for my project but right now I am working on terrestrials.

I remember I did one chosen of journey too. But that's for training, and I never really used her in game. No one actually request for chosen of journey to exaltified. I have suspicion that Journey is probably the most unpopular exalted caste ever. 

I might be very wrong though...

I just feel the need to post this:

I remember someone in the forum saying that when most artist asking for critic, they actually asking for compliment. Therefore when I post my final exaltification I will say as little as possible and sometimes do not even reply for a 'thank you'. I apologize for being rude, but I don't want that someday I actually doing this hobby just to hear praise. I mean I can't even draw! I am just lucky that I have friends that share the same hobbies, and have a place where people appreciate great art.

     Haha, I'm the same way.  Before I discovered this place I was just saving pictures that could help illustrate exalted ideas, people, places, weapons, and such to other players.  I lack the photoshop-fu to actually 'exaltify' the pictures, so before I would occasionally get lucky with a friend that finds a spark of inspiration in my storylines and decides to alter a pic.  It's always really flattering when it happens, heh.
     In your enormous stockpile of art do you have any would-make-a-good-abyssal pictures?  I guess you could say that I kind of have a "fetish" for abyssals (not a literal fetish!). They're just my favorite stories to run.

     To everyone, on page 43 I posted a bunch of abyssal pictures.  If anyone wants to go back and exaltify them please do!

There is a thing that just occurred me when I reflected about the permission that the Excellent Artist Ms.Melissa Uran may (or may be not) have given to Danelsan for putting her exquisite lineart colored on line.
I'm aware that on her personal DeviantArt Pages she put some Illustrations specifically for Colouring Experiments by others, while other pictures (almost always paid commissions by privates) are labelled "No Taking, Please".
If we modify someone else Art and put it on line, even with the due aknowledgements, we infringe some Copyright Laws, even if we have absolutely NO intention of Economical Gain ???
In my 20 years of activity in the Fields of Freelance Arts and Roleplaying Games I've accumulated literally hunddreds of books with excellent graphic art that I wish to share with this Thread (thanks to my Brand-New Graphic Scanner), but I'm doing some Lawbreaking here ???
Even if the Game Line or Company does not more exists I risk to stomp over someone else intellectual property ?
Here in Italy the Laws about the argument were quite murky, as when I made College Courses about "Graphics and Publicity" we were said that if we change a certain % of Colours, Font Size, Orientation and Page Structure of a specific Image / Art we broke no more copyright, but I was always skeptic about it...

Copyright was invented because, some artist felt they were overstepped when they saw something they had made, making money, without them having a piece of the profit. Copyright's sole excistance is to make sure that artists gets money whenever someone try to use their work to profit on. And this is okay!
But!
Personally I have never given nor asked for money in this thread, as such we are not breaking the law!

Pictures on deviantart are free to watch, and there is no security preventing people from copy pasting anything from the site, so they would be idiots if they had a problem with some copied and modified artwork.
Copy away my friend. The law will not harm you for this...

Unless otherwise specified in a contract, the graphic designer retains the right to his or her creations, and should always attempt to do so. When designing a work for a client, you are also selling specific rights to use it. Copyright laws protect against additional use without proper compensation or agreement.

For example: You design a logo for use on a specific product package for a cosmetics company. The company likes it so much that they decide to extend its use across their entire product line. You should be paid for this additional use, as it increases the value of the graphic work you created. For this reason, be sure to include in your contracts what the work can and cannot be used for.

Well, I did specifically ask if Mel had any restriction for my colouring of her lineart (which I asked exactly because of those "no taking" notices in most her comissioned linearts) and she greenlighted it all, as long as I linked back to her DA page.

Which was good, since it made me notice how rude I was been to all the artists I have taken works from DA and other places to put modified in here - Now, for those pictures I know where they came from (many I don't remember any more) I'm being more careful in linking back to the original artist.

So, you artists of the world: see one of your works modified here but uncredited? Just tell me and your name shall be announced, along with a link to whatever the site it is that you keep your pictures.

As for copyright:
1) I don't think anybody is making money out of these modifications
2) I did put a warning in the first page saying that none of these were drawn by me (which is not 100% true anymore, but mostly still holds)
3) If an artist, game company or whoever has the rights for the picture doesn't like it being here, all they have to do is ask and *puff* the picture is gone!

So, I don't think we're gonna get in trouble ^_^

Now, since I already made a Solar and an Abyssal version of this girl, I figured an Infernal one was in order ;-)
