She was played by a man actually. Man, that part of the movie was by far the worst. Seen the sequel?

Just freaks me out. The way the back looks, and towards the end when she hobbles over....uggggggg...

I have, years ago. If I remember, it wasn't too bad...I might have to try to get it and watch it sometime..

Watched two movies recently: Paranormal Activity and The Fourth Kind.

Both were pretty damn good.  I think I enjoyed Paranormal Activity more, but both were very awesome.

I can't believe how many movies are coming out in the near future that look delicious(Legion, the Wolfman, Crazies, etc.).

I loved it! Oh, get this...someone gave me a dvd with a version of the movie that had the original ending. Was pretty cool to see...tho I like the theatrical ending alittle better I think..

I had this sudden earge to watch batman beyond again (been quite a whileSurprise), so I thought I would see the movie Batman Beyond: Return of the joker.

It was actually really, really good. Usually you need to say "you need to forgive that it's a children's movie and just accpet it's kid safe material for what it is, if you want to enjoy it". That was not entirely the case. Of course in the large picture it's very child friendly, but there's at least one very gritty moment, and the plot as a whole is pretty damn good (though I kinda thought they were losing it by the end).
Surprisingly good movieSurprise

Also just saw "the libraian". Some pretty good parts, counter by many horrible moments. I saw the squeal at the same occasion, and it was vastly improved! I hope the third will have all the flaws straightened out Wink
... or maybe I'm still just too stoned to tell

Yea, I saw it years ago when it first came out. It was awesome. Originally they relased a G-rated cut...but with a few internet petitions, we got them to release the original PG-13 cut, which was damn awesome.

spoiler question but: was the virus an effect of some terrorist organisation's experiments and so on or was it something else (not gonna say what, since you haven't yet seen the original).

Quarantine was almost a shot for shot remake of Rec, so he really can't go wrong with either(unless Gone really despises subtitles).

But I would go with the original as well.  The payoff at the end was better, in my opinion.
