Fushigi Yügi - maaaan it's been over a decade since I watched that! I'm going to have to go hunting for it online now.  I used to have the lot on dvd. It was GREAT.
Other people have mentioned Record of Lodoss War.  I've got a little Japanese language guide book that went with the originals somewhere.  How about Golden Boy "Study, study, study!" as a Lore excellency stunt? Okay, perhaps not ;)
At the time it first came out Tenchi Muyo was fantastically cool.  Then they redid it 27 times, but it was still really cool to start with.
Ahha! Lensman! That. Was a badass movie.  Cool sci-fi stuff and tons of things you could use to inspire yourself.

Got a new one here:

Baccano!

There are about four fantastic action scenes, but a guy who catches bullets with a wrench? That's gotta be Exalted. There are also Exalt level interrogations that happens once or twice. "Have you ever"

After all, if: "Ladd Russo Enjoys Talking a Lot and Slaughtering a Lot" doesn't sound like the description of a Dawn Caste... I'm not sure what does.

Since you mentioned Disney, I recently saw Aladdin: Return of Jafar, and I have to commend the scene of Jafar's duel with the Genie as a prime example of Shaping Combat.

As long as you mention Disney, would the wizard's duel between Merlin and Madame Mim be more of a shaping combat, or a fight between 2 Lunars?

I would say a combo of both.

I always thought azumanga dioah is like a group of DBs at primary school...........

but I like the all lunar world of Samurai Pizza Cats rock

The Studio 4°C short Kung Fu Love has one of the best examples of someone using SMA that I've seen in anime.  Also, an excellent example of what it's like to suddenly Exalt as a Solar in the Realm.  It's only ten minutes long, so watch it (better yet, find a better version of it than you can get from youtube.)

Meanwhile, their Comedy short has one of the best anime examples of an Abyssal.

Death Note and Code Geass are good examples of how to play more cerebral Exalted.

Escaflowne and Fist of the North Star for more ass-kicking inspirations.
Any good act of Exalted epicry should not only alter the course of history, but if at all possible, the course of geography as well. -ShadowDragon8685

Avatar - always found this to be really good inspiration for Dragonblooded games

Record of Lodoss Wars - fantasy and war, good inspiration for any fantasy setting game

Fullmetal Alchemist - thought this one was good, specially for sorcery, and if nothing else the interesting characters in the series

Cowboy Bebop.  Hands down.

EDIT:  Oh, for EXALTED fodder?  Lodoss War is good.  Evangelion is good for warstriders.  Rurouni Kenshin is pretty good, too.

I always thought that History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi was what the Sidereal boot camp would be like.

Ryuzanpaku makes for a nice Sidereal hideout in Creation, with the combined Arcane Fate of the Sid Circle living there covering it up from most...

I'd say that Kenichi himself is a just Exalted Solar. The Elder is an ancient Chosen of Journeys (note how he's often away, and how he gets around!) with Miu as his Godblooded Half-Caste daughter. The mysterious Akisame is a Chosen of Secrets (note his craftsmanship), the lecherous Kensei is a Chosen of Serenity, the bruiser Sakaki is a Chosen of Battles. And Shigure is clearly a Chosen of Endings (she even wears purple all the time)!

Ragnarok are mostly Terrestrial martial artists, with a couple of exceptions, such as Seigfried, who has mastered Silver-Voiced Nightengale style (seriously, some of his moves are just like certain Charms of that style!)...

Nijima is some sort of Raksha...Wink
