Aw, crap.

According to my notes, it was supposed to be a vulture's skull on a leather thong that gives him a +3 to his Grave Dirt effects (Grave-Dirt Caul and Grave-Dirt Rage) and allows him to spend 1 Plasm to increase his Survival by 1 point, up to a maximum of 5.

Sorry about that.

When will the Quickstart be available on the WW site? I don't live in the US and I also want to check it out.

My question re: the Quickstart, Zita Vargas has Language (Spanish) as a 3 point Merit as per the pre-errata rules for Languages. Was this intentional, or an oversight on the author's part? If it's an oversight, what's the replacement for the extra Merit Dots?

It was rushing-Chris-fail. Sorry about that.

I'd give her Fleet of Foot • and raise her Contacts (Underground) to ••. Alternately, drop the Resources • and give her Stunt Driving, then if you continue playing her past the quickstart, buy back Resources • with experience.

Am I mistaken, or do Sin-Eaters with Psyche 1 have a plasm pool of 14?

I had noticed that as well.

S'All right, humanity happens. Sounds good though. I think I'd go with the Fleet of Foot and increase the Contacts rating. Thanks for the fix!

You know that Contacts don't work that way? Allies work that way, Contacts gaines one new domain for each dot. [/smart-assing]

I was thinking the Driving Style merit from Midnight Roads might work too.

Is there any reason why Ellis has a memento that gives him a bonus for the Primeval Key?

D'oh!

This is what I get for posting at work the day before a site launch. :P

Yeah. Her second dot in Contacts would go to street racers.

That one happened because the rules were still very much in flux when I wrote them up, and his powers shifted a bit. (Ellis almost had a very different set of powers, but they would have taken too much explanation.) Shift it to the Key you prefer.

Definitely, but I try to stay away from non-core Merits with my suggestions, since not everyone has them.

Page XX even makes an appearance on p.38.

For Joey's Stigmatic Rage, should that be "within 20 yards"?

Was Gianni intended to be a PC?

That one's not my fault!

Nope. Stigmatic Rage has a shorter range than the others. It's more... personal.

Yep. I statted him up and everything. He was cut at the last minute.

Could Gianni character be made playable - i.e. adding him as full write up her, on forum?

So for additional nice, solid errata:

Pg. 8: Ghost Sight - Wits + Perception; no Perception, is that supposed to be Wits + Composure like regular perception checks?

Pg. 37: Character Sheet - Tyson's Archetype should be Pilgrim not Advocate, as written in the description, right?

Pg. 45: Character Sheet - Whew... Ellis Meyer's Attributes are 5/3/3. He also has 10 xp from Synergy buy down, but has only spent 5 of it. (Two for a Merit dot and one for a Social Skill dot.) In addition, he has a One dot Memento (charm) listed, but nothing in his description. Does he have two Mementos, (That one and the Dreamcatcher) or one?

Pg. 47: The Passenger's Keychain - Influence Ghost should be replaced with Stigmatic Marionette and Halt Metabolism should be Stigmatic Caul, correct?

I also have a question related to the rules: Joey's Weeping Wall is a two dot Merit (A Vanitas Memento), charms appear to be one dots, is Zita supposed to have one dot Memento (Crucifix) and a one dot Memento (Forgotten Key Ring) or is a character limited to five total dots of Mementos?

Totally unrelated to errata, is there any chance we could get downloadable full size character sheets for the PCs in this, instead of the quarter page character sheets in the book? That would be awesome.

*Additions*

Pg. 40: Character Sheet - Joey Cavanaugh, unless there is something behind the scenes I'm missing, should have 4 Willpower, not 3.

Pg. 42: Character Sheet - Lee Kovach is missing a dot of Social skills, only 6 dots were assigned.

Okay, I think that, plus the other posts, covers all the errors I've seen. Sorry to be so nit-picky on this. I just want to make sure that all the ducks are in a row before I run this. I'm looking forward to it, as the story is interesting and the game's concepts and rules are rather interesting. I look forward to the book itself.

I believe that's something messed up with Tyson's Skill dots. I gave him one extra dot of Stealht cause looks like one dot is missing. And (but that's only my opinion) swapped Weaponry and Firearms dots, cause it feels more appopriate for him.

I still have his stats in an undeveloped state. There may be some wonkiness, but I'll try and get them up.

Stealth is a good choice. The Firearms reflects his pre-martial arts gangbanger years.

Did I really? Cripes. Yes, Wits + Composure it is. *smacks forehead*

Definitely Pilgrim.

I'm not sure about that one. My copy of the manuscript has his Presence at 3 instead of 2. The second memento shouldn't exist, and his Empathy and Persuasion should be 1 each, leaving him with 1 extra experience point.

It should have been a one dot and a one dot. Sin-Eaters are not limited to five total dots of Mementos, they adore their bling.

The only thing I can think of behind the scenes you might not be seeing is a severe lack of caffeine when I wrote him up. Probably. Or I fail at math. I have a degree in English for a reason.

Weird. He should have one dot in Empathy.

Also, just a note: Tyson's name was originally Tyrell Bishop (it was changed in editing). If I say Tyrell, it's because he's still Tyrell in my heart. :P

Shouldn't Tyson's Memento be a hell-forged tank that shoots silver flaming chainsaws? No, wait, that's OWoD.

Never mind.
