Majunior:
There's sunlight or there isn't.

Agreed. The spell doesn't create agg damage it only creates a mini sun. I'm thinking multiple mini suns are going to be just as bad as 1.

Coinicidentally that's exactly what he did. He died horribly since the artifact was apparently a trigger to create 3 more sources of sunlight.

That sucks so the st used a red herring to kill a char? That's not cool did he explain why he did that or did he just go "Oh your srewed to bad make a new character." because yeah that st should definetly be asked what is up.

What about some welding goggles and covered head to toe so that no skin is exposed?

Cover is cover, isn't it?

The big difference would be the need to check for Frenzy every turn or scene pending an exceptional success.

Actually if he did this he would only take 1 Agg/turn.

Intensity or Exposure Health Points/Turn

Faint, filtered sunlight 1 point
(Example: light through heavy,
closed drapes; cloud cover; twilight)

well if yo manage not to let any kind or rays pass and no heat at all...the he could survive from the damage point of view(at least i would do it that way as a ST)
for that kind of thing you would need  very heavy modified clothing...so if money arent problem then you can make it..but there are other problems :P like constant fear frenzy and stuff

In my crossover game, we decided that my mage with Death 2 and Forces 2 is able to cast a spell that basically stops any sunlight from reaching a vampire, although fear may still come into play (and a dark shadow surrounds them so improbability can come into play). They both have the coil of banes (surmount the daysleep) so that covers the being awake part.

Edit: And if you don't want any mages in the game, you can still bring in an imbued item that does the same thing.

Might as well have just made the artifact make vampires burst into flames... forever... when they pick it up just before they hear a booming voice in their head that says "YOUR ST HATES YOU"

The thing with goggles is that by the very dint that you can see through them, they are letting sunlight through.  The only real best way to get completely safe and still be able to move is completely cover and using a camera feed to the outside world so you can actually see, because elsewise the only part of you burning is your face for the sunlgiht exposure.

My thoughts on that.  But yeah, as ntoed above, the deathrap seems to just be ST dickery.

And stuff.

Make a deal with an Infernal demon- there's one vamp in Immortal Sinners that did just that, and now he can walk around in daylight freely.

That was going to be my suggestion.  ;)

You know what you do, op?

Get a tank.
Unwrap my corpse
And let it thaw
In the eye of the needle
I can't get out

They'll check my wrist
I'll faint a pulse
I'm not the human
You thought I was

Get a tank.

That's what the Nossies do and everyone just drives around them without seeing them; the trouble comes when they reach their destination:  It's so hard to find underground parking that the tank can drive into.

Actually, ghoul driven hearses are far more economical.
