The Grimm Truth: San Diego Changeling

Since 2004, there has been a strong tradition of San Diego County hosting Changeling The Dreaming LARPs. We managed to gather together a strong core fan base and had many creative people willing to run games for us. We even had four different games running all at the same time and every weekend was a Changeling game you could go to.
Now while my Dreaming game is still going strong, three years in August, the others have since ended. Though I believe one in Carlsbad still hangs on by a thread.

However, the Changeling LARP tradition continues as we have all gotten into Lost. We had a short lived run with a chronicle called At Summer's Edge which was fun but then the ST had to move away. Now we have a new game that I would like to share with fellow fans of The Lost:

We had our first game last weekend and it was amazing.

I am currently playing in this Changeling the Lost game and this is by far the best Larp I have ever played in.  The System used is not rock paper scissors.  The ST uses his own system based on a deck of cards.  It works out great.  The ST and his assistants are amazing at what they do.  The players are experienced and mature.  This makes for awesome game play.  So if your reading this come check this game out.  It is played on the first and second Saturday of every month by the duck pond at Balboa Park.  check out the website above for more info.  right now we have 30 or more players.  Come check this out you will be impressed.

the deck of cards over rock paper scissors isn't that ST's own system. thats NWoD MET. they did away with rock paper scissors when old WoD ended

I did not know that.  But anyways it is a better system by far.  ITs the people that make the game great though.  IF you have a good set of players then LARPing can be awesome.

I go to SD once a year, for SDCC, so if you guys are running a game at Comic Con I could be interested in joining.
