Introduction AND Leaving corpses instead of fetches.

I'm a long time gamer who has completely fallen in love with changeling. And Promethean.  ANYWAY.

I was working on my write up for a chronicle when I came up with something that I think particularly defines the character of the game.  I was trying to think of the complications that might arise should one of the Gentry decide that its too much work to keep leaving autonomous fetches and instead decides to leave dead bodies behind instead.  Well one of the issues is that sometimes there might be family or friends that just don't believe the circumstances of their loved ones death, particularly if it was made to look like a suicide.  Well thats when I started thinking about accidental and EMBARASSING ways to die.  Mainly...autoerotic asphyxiation.

So here it is:  This particular gentry leaves corpses with nooses, scarves, or what have you tied around the neck of the body as well as a choice sex toy here or there depending upon the gender and anatomy of the one being taken.  Add to that a couple of pieces of corroborating evidence (choking porn) in the closet and you have yourself a death that NO ONE wants to look further into. 

Not to mention the crazy situation that the returned changeling would be walking into, return only to discover that everyone you know and love thinks you died while masturbating. 

I don't know if this is going to be a prominent gentry in the game or not.  In fact I'd rather it not, I'd rather there just be crazy and wild rumors about this one running around the freehold.  Maybe and just maybe, have the characters investigate a death by auto-asphyx. 

Any thoughts?  Good first post?

It sounds like the work of a particularly fucked up and abusive Keeper, one that fully understands the ramifications of its choice of cover story.  In fact, one fairly famous Fair Folk would do things like that.  She's the Dark Queen, that horrible and sexy woman a seductive and sadistic vampire.  She's the Morrigan, Lilith, Lamia, and all manners of terrible woman.  In addition to her personal sexual activity ("Violent" and "Deviant" don't even scratch the surface in describing that), she does have a sadistic streak that manifests in many other ways, including what she does to the "corpses" she leaves behind in place of her stolen slaves.  She loves imagining the horrorible life that any escapee would return to find, and relishes the pain and suffering that she leaves in her wake.  She is the Queen of Air and Darkness, the Dark Mother, The Empress Drenched in Blood.. and she is one of Faerie's worst.

Thats appropriate twisted and fucking sick. I like it.

But keep in mind that part of the reason for the creation of fetches is that a Keeper may not want undue attention brought to the abduction. Remember that sometimes the Lost gather in groups with the express purpose of looking for clues of these "abductions" and a wise Fae may want to prevent leaving behind too many clues. Not to mention that fetches can provide alot of thematic potential to the games.
