Hey guys. I need help. I am trying to get my character exaltedified, problem is, i can't even find a suitable picture to start with. I have found one that is close to it (the above pictures). I have spent about 4+ hours today, but I can't find THE one. I am going to attempt to describe my guy and then link the post from the picture that i have seen that gets the closest. Maybe one of you has seen something similar. Or if something thinks they can mod the one i found enough to look like my guy I would greatly appreciate it and sing your praises till the end of my days...

So I went with a Zenith Solar from the East. Benn outside his whole life (tan), lives in the woods (gruff appearance, yet has appearance 4), lean build (Str 2, but can pump himself up to Str5, ath 7, dex 4), His main offense is clinches, so he has a hybrid bloodspike harness/reinforced breast plate of Orichalcum. he also has a jump harness and perfect boots. He is tall and has shaggy brown hair. I will also update my chibi so that might help a bit. Thanks guys for ANY help you can give me.

Hi, guys ! Just passing by to say a brief hello ! What are the news?

I've been busy with my medical clerkship every morning, working out in the afternoon and unfortunately...

Damn it! I'm playing D&D 4th Edition...a Warcraft campaign. Damn my friends!

They've grew tired of all those charms and wanted to a D&D vibe once more, to remember the good old days...and they love Warcraft, too. The show must go on, uh?

Though I have plans to restart our Exalted campaign next semester.

Oh, I've got a new girlfriend, too. Her name's Livia. She's so sweet, lol. Awesome girl.

Does any of you guys could please give her a Chosen of Serenity castemark and remove the background?

So I offer this suggestions: Your caste mark looks a little off because, while the character looks to the side (and we only see part of his face), the mark itself is as if he was facing the viewer. To correct this, you should modify the caste mark using Edit -> Transform -> Perspective
It allows you to adjust proportions as to look like the mark is facing to the side. But you will then need to resize it (Edit -> Transform -> Scale) and possibly erase part of it (the part that wouldn't be visible with the head in that position)

I admit danelsan, i gave up to transform the caste mark after several tries, becaus i dislike the way it looked. It seemed like an half moon after some manipulations, but i'll try again.
I've never considered to cut some part of it, i'll try it.

Can anyone Twilight-ize this kid for me? Reds, purples and golds ...

Maybe make his rod/staff blue jade while their at it? It's what he uses to control the ice and snow of the North.

If someone goes so far as to do an expanding anima, which would be awesome, his totemic form is simple enough. An intricate snowflake design, much like the mandala on that awesome one already on this page.

Soon I'll be a professional acupuncturist, but for now I make a living teaching martial arts. As a teacher, I love it when my disciples have an easier time learning something than I had, or when their first tries end up better than my first. The same applies here.

Of course, In martial arts and exaltification alike, I've gone a long way from my first try, so I still have something to offer even with great initial results by the students.

2 things: one being a shameless bump on the thread and 2 well i need to wait a while longer for my foray into exaltifications as my cpu was damaged coming out and since my sis has retaken her laptop for her studies I cannot focus on wanting to begin to do this....yet. once my cpu is up I will begin to try my hand at this

Meanwhile, I too remain incapable of exaltifying anything, as I couldn't send my notebook for repairs, since I'll be needing it for quite some time for my studies. I'm not sure how long before I can get back to this particular hobby, so I'm afraid the most I can do for now is watch what my tutorials can accomplish for those who wanna try on their own and offer further hints.

The intention is for me to get back to exaltifications before the year's end, but I'm not sure it will be possible. As happened in other situations I was forced to be away from participating in this thread, I must ask for patience.

In the mean time, I'm open for questions by those who have been trying to exaltify. So I can write Followers in my sheet, you people can write Mentor in yours ^_^

No less than amazing anima work. Can't say I like the caste mark though (tough picture to do a caste mark on though), and if you don't mind my vanity then I think the source picture is pretty bad too.

But the anime! Simply wauw!

That last one with the iconic anima is amazing, the previous two are pretty good as well.
The first one is a bit rough around the edges, but aside from that its pretty good.

I started hating the eyes so much that I had to post a version without them, so here we go ;)

Indeed, this version is much better. Also a lot better than that Abyssal you were doing (and now you know how I sufer when people ask me to remove the background...). But I think you got wrong the meaning of the color in a Sidereal's eyes.

From my reading of the text it is not that their eyes shine when their Anima shows, but rather that their actual irises become their Caste's color, while tiny stars in the same color can be seen in their pupils. I rarely manage to represent it fully, but take a look at the Battles Caste I posted back on page 76 for a look at what I mean in a rare case I got to put the stars in there.

As for suggestions for further improvement: This caste mark was made with the custom shape tool? Looks like it is the case, but it looks a little, hmm, my English fails me here, so I'll go with rough - to make it cleaner (smoother?), be sure to check the little box that says Anti-Alias next to the opacity

As I said, I believe this guy should have red irises - Color Substitution Tool to the rescue! You may also need to darken it a little bit with the Burn Tool

Not an "improvement" per se but I'd do the caste mark differently - I do almost white color in the shape itself, strong color in the outer glow. But Asura does it like you did there, I'm just pointing out my preferences ^_^

Meanwhile, I'm still mouseless and I can't send my notebook for repairs right now since I'll be needing it for my studies. Solving this has high priority in my list though, cause I hate this "square-touchy-board" that passes for a mouse in notebooks (not the least reason of which is that I can't possibly Exaltify anything with it)
