We've had Star Wars threads on the forum before, so I wanted to continue the tradition. We'll talk all things Star Wars here!

So, how have you been liking the Clone Wars series?

I've been enjoying it immensely and see it as a more worthy effort than the prequel trilogy was...sorry everyone but Padme losing the will to live because Anakin was a meanie head is not in keeping with the strength of the character and kind of contradicts a line Leia had in Return of the Jedi. And that's just one ,admittedly major,  beef.

I've been enjoying it, though I haven't been keeping up on it. Now it has the misfortune of being on at the same time as Dollhouse, and choices are difficult.

Oh, good point, I usually catch the episodes of clone wars on saturday with my son though. They show them repeatedly throughout the week as well.

I have never seen an episode of The Clone Wars.

Now, I can watch Dollhouse on Fox's website the next day. With The Clone Wars, I'm not sure if they post those anywhere. Maybe I should watch those on Friday instead.

If someone knows where I can find the last episode, I'll be thankful.

Every time I’ve seen the Clone Wars I’ve thought it was a lot of fun. Unfortunately I only get to see it when I’m at my mom’s. (I have no cable TV L)

For me it’s one of those “comfort shows” that you can just zone out and relax and forget all the bullshit of the day.

I haven't seen any of the Clone Wars, just the commericals but I have a beef with Jedi...

What the hell happened to them?

I mean in A New Hope Obi Wan and Vader had, by today's standards an AWFUL lightsaber duel. Maybe it was because Obi Wan threw the fight. But in Empire and Jedi, Luke and Vader duked it out without using the force to crush the support beams and hurl giant computers or other sci-fi set pieces at one another. They were just swordsmen with a few neat tricks they could do if they put their mind to it. If they concentrated.

Go to the prequels and it is a forceapalooza. Yoda is flipping around like crazy, Dooku crushes the wall and sends it falling on him. The Force Unleashed (while fun) was just ridiculous. Now I see in the Clone War's cartoons their jumping hundreds of feet and running at super speeds and just having a telekinetic free for all. And the could be doing the most harrowing thing, and still work up the will to do something nutty.

Lucas, that crazy old man, turned the Jedi's power up to eleven and made them into a game of Exalted for christ sakes. If they Jedi were that awesome, why did Han Solo not have any idea of them especially when he was probably alive at the end of Revenge of the Sith seeing how it was only sixteen years or so between the movies. How did anyone write off the Jedi as a myth when they could do the stuff their doing in the cartoons and the prequels. It doesn't jive with me sir.
