Online game with a twist looking for 2 players

Maon has Health boons.  Not sure which ones exactly.  Aside from that, I'm not sure that we have any Medicine-heavy people in the group.

hmmm neither sound useless. I think I would go with Heavenly Flare to give her more to do in combat, though, if that is significant to you. If you don't care too much maybe the Life-Giving Rays...one Health boon person means they can't self heal without E Stamina Knacks, and I am not sure how many of you have Self-Healing. If several do, it leans back to Heavenly Flare.

Sorry if I knew everyones stats I'd be more helpful...hope this helped a little. :-/

Sorry about game last Monday... My internet connection was playing up, and no matter what I tried, I kept missing large chunks of the conversation... Our local phone company has been doing a lot of work lately, so hopefully it should be fixed for next session...

Man the forum hates me. 

I don't think anyone has Self Healing.  Maon doesn't have Heal/Infect (Health 3) or Bolster Health.  In short the party has little at all in the way of healing.  On top of that at least one character has no Epic Stamina. 

That being said, I can work around it if you'd rather Heavenly Flare.  I've already got a plan for that actually.  I know its not much help to say "choose whichever you like".  The group has no healing ability but they also could use some combat help as well.  Something that temporarily stops an enemy from taking an action could be quite useful.  And yes I'd allow either of Baron's suggestions to work as an "aggro dump" much as I allow Center of Attention to "tank" with.

Sach - Hope to see you next session for sure.  The group fought a giant wyrm thing burrowing through the earth towards Londinium.  Lots of icky maggots and such.  The next session will pick up almost 3 full years down the road if you want ot put some thought into what Hana may be doing. 

Everyone - The last few years have been up and down.  Numerous attempts by the Picts and Scots to invade Britania.  Many deaths from disease in Londinium itself.  The general Maximus has been extremely successful in fending off the invasions.  In early 383 (we're going to pick up in Summer 383), Maximus is actually declared Emperor by his men and has set off for Gaul to cement his claim, taking a large number of troops with him.

Sorry guys....3 sick kids and a sick wife (not swine flu, but that wouldn't be much different) means I'm working off precious little sleep.  I'm not going to be able to run tonight, as I'm barely conscious now.

That's cool, family health issues definitely trump online roleplaying.  Take care of what needs takin' care, and we'll see you next week.  BTW - definitely going with Life-Giving Rays for Momo, just so you know.  Hope everybody feels better.

Turns out my wife has a lung infection, the kids merely really, really bad sinus colds.  Nothing serious, but makes it tough to sleep.

Still thinking about what to do with Maon during the 2 year break, but I think I have the xp spending figured out.

Also, I actually don't have any Health boons.  I just have the Medicine ability.

Everyone's feeling better/on the mend.  Ready, willing and able to run regular time/place.  However since this weekend was daylight savings...anyone not using it?  I just want to make sure we're all on the same page:)

Tomorrow will start with a breif "what I've been up to for 2 years" as well as a "I've kept in touch with/haven't kept in touch with...." for the other PCs and a "Holy crap, Maximus is killing heretics who don't follow their one god!  How do I feel about that?"

Still focused around Londinium, which has prospered over the last few years, despite a relatively recent bout with some sort of plague that's affecting primarily the lower classes.

What would the exp cost for me getting a Valkyrie Horse (p.328 Hero) in the book it says its a 4 dot creature + 1 dot Relic

Birthrights don't have XP costs.  You either need to find one in play or use the points you get when you hit Demigod/God.

That being said, if you're looking for one I'll keep that in mind.

Something to think about for next game because Maon is thinking about it: Think it might be a good idea to lay a geas on Maximus?

So, I think we should try to find out what's up with Faustus and Hana's players before next week.

Major apologies... both for missing the game and for what I'm about to say, however... it is quite possibly time for Hana to drop out...

I don't particularly want to, however, my father has recently been admitted to hospital, and it doesn't look to good for him. At this rate, with my two jobs... I don't get to see him very much, so I think I will unfortunately have to drop this IRC game to make up for that...

I feel awful about it... particularly because I was really loving the game, and all of our characters...

Maybe in the future I might be able to return as a cameo for a session or two... but it's up in the air for now...
