you do realise that if you get fired you'll have to cut back on posting on the net and thus will cut me off my supply of the Dark Ambitions chronicle? I mean, do it for our sake... :) Other than that - good attitude. From my experience a student can get an amazing amount of interesting information from his classes, even the seemingly boring ones - as long as he puts in a lot of work himself. What you give is what you get. Unless your eyes are shut. And I don't mean that literally.

Thank you!  I am very proud of him.  He's at work today, too.  That boy works very hard for us, and we appreciate it! ^_^

Yes, Mordwyr does love his lecture classes.  And though he does not have the same level of enjoyment in his TOEIC classes, he does gain satisfaction from them.  In those classes, the work he does with the students translates into solid, quantifiable gains for their futures.  He is the best at those classes, and the students know it.  Obviously, the school must realize it, too. ^_^

I'm glad that he likes it.  If he likes it, then he will automatically put forth more effort into it, because then he will enjoy it more.

Yeah, the semester's going great, and I'm looking forward to the pay raise next year. Also, I've picked up three Academic Speaking classes, which are basically classes where the students are taught how to present research in English in an academic setting. Those classes should be interesting! Better than teaching test prep classes, for sure! ^_^
