sorry, there's an adage about hope in polish that was used a lot around my house when I was a child. It goes like this: Hope is the mother of fools, but every mother loves her children.

Thanks :) Your post makes a little more sense now! Pessimistic wisdom though...

after long years of meditation we might achieve an altered state of perception in which my sentences would actually make perfect sense. Till then - let's stick to the nonsense.

I've never met someone so naive in the ways of sex.

A couple of pages back but there are a surprising number of sexually naive women out there.

For example when my mother was visiting her (now ex) boyfriend in Oshawa she was asked by the guy's mother and her friends if women urinated out of their vaginas. These were women who were in their 50s.

Okay that may not be sexually naive so much as anatomically naive.

Now where's my damn tea...

Wait, women were asking other women if they urinated out of their vaginas? Did they think the process was different for different women?

i must confess, that it was quite recent (in the past 2 years) that it dawned on me that cats had belly buttons.

Cats have bellybuttons?

Isn't it strange how the mind works? I'm having this feeling of peaceful serenity at the prospect of going to an exam in 30 minutes, yet I'm pretty sure I'm not going to do well. It's sort of an intense panic that's gone a full cycle and turned into dead calm.

It's helluva funny feeling actually.

a good reason to be a bit less ashamed of being polish. Or part polish.

eh... I still can't get over it... but it doesn't really matter... as long as people don't automatically assume I'd rather have something Polish, I'm fine with how things are...

Howso? With the amount of people online choosing names, you will get a lot of variation from the English word.  So Lunatyk isn't too far fetched a name to see online.  (I have thankfully only seen one other Vulture in the online world so far)

I guess so. It shocked my mother.

Speaking of which, I relayed her the Fail Blog tale of the women selling anal beads. My mother asked "I don't get what her son was doing with anal beads. Why would he have them?" My response was "To shove them up his butt of course."

Jenny has a herniated belly button. It's not life threatening but shih tzu are prone to having them. Every time someone pets Jenny's belly and notices the soft bump on her stomach I have to tell them what it is.
