Mo'vember anyone?

movember is coming up.
and as i have had some limited success in my facial hair endeavours i thought i would join in this year (rather than just donating)

for those that have never encountered this, its basically a sponsored moustache growing event to raise awareness for men's health issues (Prostate cancer in particular) and raise money for a related charity.

i was just wondering if anyone was up for joining me in this event?

we could post our progress on this thread too.

I can not shave for awhole week, and I might have alittle stubble...

yeah i know that problem, personally, i think it would be good for the laugh.
all for a good cause and all that.
for 4 weeks of not shaving your top lip for charity regardless of the result, i think is worth it.

I've thought about letting it go for awhile and see how it looks...maybe one of these days..

The fact that I already donated a portion of my tax return this year to men's health causes means my refusal to grow a moustache does not mean I turn a blind eye to the cause. I just choose to support it in other ways.

Thats fair enough Lordbob, i can respect that.

I can more than respect that. If more of us were like Lord Bob, we wouldn't need silly things like Movember or Breast Cancer walks to raise funds for these types of organizations.

I had never heard of this, but I think I might grow a stash just for the hell of it.

I should note that in no way was I trying to sound smug about it, or dismissive of the moustache thing. Re-reading it, it kind of sounded like I was.

Damn, if I had a week more of warning I might have set something up with work.  Will see if I can still get it to go through
