What is Twilight to you? I can't remember if it's been asked, but how do you define it in your game(s)?
Also...what do MET and RAW and other acronyms like them mean?
Ling-ling know that safest place on airplane is the "black box."

In my games Twilight is a state of being.  It is part of the physical fallen world and is the frequency that ghosts are naturally in.  It looks no different than the normal world because it is, for all intents and purposes, the normal world but everything in it is skewed out of perception.  This is part of why ghosts can be so frustrated or angry especially if they do not know they're dead.  Twilight relies upon ideas though, so since the idea and purpose of a floor is to stand on being in twilight can stand on floors.  However this ideas are not absolute and can be broken with effort.  This is how people in twilight can walk through walls for example.

MET stands for Mind's Eye Theater.  It is the Live Action Role Play rules set for the WoD.  RAW stands for Rules as Written and means how a rule is literally written in the book with no house rules or extra interpretation added in.

Oh thank the gods somebody answered this...it was driving me nuts.
As to the other answer, it sounds like it's similar to the Shadow...but lifeless. Interesting...

Well by default the World of Darkness defines Twilight as the state of being immaterial in the material world so Delmont's answer is basically the official one for most intents in purposes.

Not really.   I mean, it is how all spirit-types (demons, qashmallim, Hisil spirits, ghosts, Astral forms, etc) show up when they cross over to the Material world, but that's it.    Its not a place- it just means that you're intangible.   Everything in the Material world is still there, with nothing new added or lost.  Its easier to think of being in Twilight as being transformed into a type of energy, as opposed to having a physical body.

The Shadow, on the other hand, is more than a distorted reflection.   There are things in the Hisil that have no Material reflection- entire worlds' worth, and there are portions of the Material that don't exist in the Shadow.   When you're in the Shadow, spirits have a physical body, and one can freely interact with them in any way.   Its unknown if its even possible if you can make yourself intangible.

To give you a pop culture reference.  If you are a Star Trek Next Generation fan, remember the episode where Geordi and Ro Laren were "phase shifted" out of sync with everyone else.  They were still wandering around the regular world, but couldn't be seen or interacted with by regular people since they couldn't perceive them.

My friend said "A vampire, mage, and werewolf walk into a bar....."  My response "Sam Haight shows up and kills you all"

So when your in twilight can you walk through walls and the like? Can you see and hear people clearly in the real world?

yes and yes.  Though they cannot interact with you at all unless they have some power that allows them to.  Nor can you interact with them unless you have some power to do so.

My gods. The developers should've used that example in the first place! It would avoid so much confusion, because it makes perfect sense!

Well to be fair, they might have been assuming not everyone has seen ST:TNG  :)

And technically they can't make that reference since they have no right to that property.

Every WoD book starts off by talking about other books and movies that they don't own. Even if they don't own it they can still say "It's like in Star Trek when Geordi and Ro were phase shifted away from being able to interact with the Enterprise, but they could still see it."

Fair Use.
Some houserules you might like
I do understand that I often don't follow the rules written in the books. It's very intentional.

The main reason of confusion is that, although RAW Twilight is a state of being, not a different realm, in some books, the writers have defined twilight as a different realm.

There is a difference in putting it in your inspiration section and stating it in your rules section.

Using it as a simile/metaphor is illegal? Pity...
