Vulcan's/Hephaestus' net

I am trying to make a scion relic for the net that Hephaestus trapped Ares and Aphrodite without making it too powerful but still get the legendary feel, any ideas? I would be most thankful for any input.

Would it be used as a weapon?   or just as a general relic?

Simple. Being with less Legend of the weilder cannot escape the net. Being with equal Legend must make a contested roll to escape. Beings of higher Legend cannot be trapped by the weilder.
Simple yet effective.

2-point Relic - uses mechanics for a Clinch
1 - Melee weapon can strike at a distant target out to Legend x5 yards. 
1 - Adds Legend rating as dice to Strength + Brawl rolls.

should not cost much.
1 Legend for creatures of lesser Legend / turn.
3 Legend for creatures of equal Legend / turn.

Resists opponent with a strength+epic strength equal to the opponents, plus it gets bonus dice equal to legend of creator.

How about this?

- or perhaps reduce it to -

"Whomever throws this net will always ensnare a target that has committed adultery against them."

- but both go along with -

"Subjects rightly caught by the net are 1) unable to escape (no resistance roll) because 2) they feel ashamed about their crime and feel compelled to confess (though this is subject to a resistance roll with mechanics akin to a like boon of the Justice Purview)."

"Subjects guilty of no crime against the wielder of the net cannot be ensnared by it."

I think it'd make more sense to have a net like this channel a Justice Boon of some kind.  And make it a 5-dot relics, because not even gods can escape it.

I think I will use Aberrant _Scion's useage because I want it to be affordable but I agree that firstedition's is more mythologically sound. I am building a Scion of Vulcan and thought it would make a good relic. Thank's for the insight.
