Though this doesn't have much to do with Exalted, I don't want to risk getting associated with those creepy WoD people, so I'm just posting it here.

I've decided to prostitute my signature that has just been a "space for rent" for some time.  Whoever best describes the relationship (rivalry?) between me and Octopoid (that eight-armed, mollusca bastard) can have that little space to put whatever they want.

So go for it.

I'm Octopoid, and I approve this thread.

I feel that Octopoid should get to choose what goes in there. After all, he should be able to ram whatever he wants into your signature space, just like he rams stuff into other places.

I was going to title this "Gundams verses Octopuses".

Santa Claus kills more people every year than sharks.  Why?  Because anything that would make a cool factoid kills more people per year than sharks!

The problem is that gundams crush everything, forcing the terrified people to flee or perish as their midsections are pulverized, knowing that they will die in agony.  I mean, this happens even if said gundam is just heading off to the store to buy soda.  What's wrong with soda?  Everybody loves it!  But they don't love slow death.  Sometimes people just refuse to accept that the price for a delicious beverage is agonizing pain.

Mollusks are the worst kinds of villain, because they are escape artists.  We've seen those videos where an octopus will open its cage and sneak off into the aquarium to eat things- those are regular octopi.  Octopoid is an afficenado of fine literature, and therefore enjoys escaping into a good book.  The problem is that, octopus talents combined with erudite training, he literally enters them, and will liberally alter works he dislikes.  He's the worst kind of shipper!  You try to defend your works from him, but he's got eight arms with which to critize.

The real issue is when a gundam settles down to read a good book and finds an octopus inside.  The gundam will try to crush the octopus, but it's no use!  Octopi know the Erupting Burning Tentacle technique, and can use it eight times in a flurry!  If deathmatchfm tries to use his energy weapons, Octopoid will use his ace!  Ink goes flying, and suddenly the gundam is totally dark!  Everyone knows that a black robot with glowing red eyes is the bad guy!  Co-ordinated attack!

Curse you!
Where am I going? I don't know!
When will I get there?  I ain't certain!
What'll I do?  I ain't equipped to say!

Oh man, some of these are pretty good.  'Poid, you might have to help me pick the best one here.

Erupting Burning Tentacle technique

May give you the win.  I laughed out loud reading that.

But I'll give people until I get home from work till I decide.  That way more people have a chance to try and win the space, and Octopoid has time to disagree with whatever choice I make.  Everybody wins!

It's hard to beat Rim's post, but I can't imagine that all fitting into a Signature.

Man, I wish I could, but so far, Rim has my vote, too.

Then that settles it for now.

Rim, what do you want to put in my space for rent?  It's all yours.
