non_applicable:I'm so bloody glad this thread is back, if nothing else, it gives me so many ideas.
Viradu:You are at school, in a classroom. You hear screams. A mass murderer is going from classroom to classroom, killing everyone in a psychotic spree. Before anyone in your classroom can run, he enters the place and starts gunning down (or slashing) everyone. You freeze on your spot. He approaches you with intentions of killing you, but takes a look at you, and looks surprised (even scared, perhaps?). He lowers his weapon, turns around and goes to the next classroom, killing everyone there. You're the only one left alive. Why did he spare you? What did he see?
Mr Gone:Awesome.
Vagabond_Samurai:You live in a small, out of the way town that is little more than an overgrown truck stop gone wrong. One night during a social gathering at a friend's house, the power goes out. The darkness is so thick that you can almost feel it swirling like water across your skin. You all look to your cell phones for light and communication, but they no longer function. You fumble through the to your car and find that your car will start, but that the lights do not work. Even the light-up displays are dead. At this time you are glad that you smoke, and fidget for a brand new pack of lighters in your glove compartment, but none of the lighters perform their duty. Slamming your fist into the dashboard in a cocktail of frustration, confusion, and fear, you slump in the driver's seat. Then you notice all of the people in the neighborhood have emptied their houses and are all shambling down the street with a strange shuffling gait, barely visible in the all pervasive night. Where are they going? Should you follow? Where has the light gone?
Renfield286:Look, i know your sitting there, alone in that room, reading this. trust me, don't turn round. you know its watching you don't you? no don't look. just watch the screen and count slowly down from 60. and for the love of god, don't look... -- i went *bump* in the day, theres no reason for this thread to leave the first page.
Samuke:From time to time he drops by in the night. A guy who stands in the corner of your bedroom, late at night, talking to you. At first you were scared by his visits, but he's never harmed you, simply talked, and after a while you came to look forward to his visits. But last night, when he was talking to you, your roommate flipped on the lights and asked who you were talking to, and looking back toward your friend you realize you're staring into a mirror. Ehh, lame ><
You always knew there was something in your room. It never said anything, but whenever you were up too late, it would lift up one of the handles of your dresser and let it fall, clinking against the metal of its base. When you moved out, you took the dresser with you, but the clinking stopped. Now, something begins using the knocker on your front door whenever you're awake late at night.
