Anyway. Someone in the old thread asked for me to turn this redhead girl here:







in a Fire Aspect. I was supposed to remove the cowgirl by her side, but
that would leave an incomplete redhead for me to work with. Instead, I
tracked down another picture of her and modified it into what you see
here:







I didn't even had to modify much, as the image was very "flaming"
already! (although I left the sword to do last and it caused some extra
work in the layers above it) Hopefully, this one will work for whoever
made the original request



And, someone posted a princess in the old thread so that I turn her
into an abyssal. Despite the friendly face, I'm pretty sure it was
supposed to be a Dusk caste (If not, just tell me and I'll change it).
Here she is, with dark dress (except the whitish part of it that is
made of ghosts   ), pale skin, some skull jewelry for good measure,
and the caste mark, of course. Enjoy!

These Ads, I never knew about that. See, this is one of the many reasons I like Firefox: Add-ons. Like the Adblock that has allowed me to navigate Image Venue and much more without such inconveniences...But I don't have any particular passion for Image Venue. If anybody knows a good (free) image hosting site (that hosts for unlimited time) without such things as "adult friend finder" or "enlarge your penis" ads, let me know.



Anyway, I'm stopping by to  warn you guys that I'll be working in some marketing material for the next few days, so I'll probably not post any modifications this week.

So, I've finally found the time to try my hand at this. The guide danelsan posted was very useful and made things far easier.

I'm not really happy with how the bow turned out, but I also didn't want to waste too much time on it. If the mood strikes, I'll see if I'll redo it.

Other than that, I hope it's close enough to what the person who asked for this to be "exaltified" was imagining.

Comments, especially constructive ones are welcome.

That should be pretty easy to fix. I'll do that later (still don't want to go back to the bow, I lost half an hour of work due to a crash, that's why it's done lazily).

That's why I liked her - pretty, but not half-dressed sexy.  Granted in my game she's a mind-wiped Solar whose traded just about every memory from her current life in exchange for protection for the village that she grew up in... Not that it went well, but she doesn't remember why she should care.



If you want a real challenge, you can try to add her aura - every artifact she's ever created rises from the ground to swirl around her in a whirlwind.

I've also made one where you could see the caste mark better, but it didn't look that well. Maybe I'll correct it later.

You are right about this picture. Requesters: if you find yourself torn between two or more pictures that could represent your character, such things as even backgrounds (preferably with a color distinguishably different from the character's) and clean lineart should be considered. it make the "exaltification" work much easier and faster. Most of the requests by Annatar are also good examples of this, as are most of character's pictures found in japanese RPG videogame manuals.

That kind of stuff is particularly important when dealing with extensive modifications.



Oh! Undefined: great tattoo design, but it seems you forgot to add an outer glow in the last one.



Well, I'm finally less busy, and had enough time to advance a little the Anima Banner guide. I also had time to do a couple modifications



This lunar was requested by a friend who was in need of this NPC for a gaming session with his group. A bit of a rush job, but the guy liked it



 



This piece is now a zenith, as requested, with golden armor and bright caste mark. Some not-very-clean lines and the background gave me some trouble, but I like this artist a lot and, curiously, had long ago downloaded this same image and planned to make a zenith out of it too!

 



Now, I must say I'm really glad to see other peole making their own mods. It has been an unstated goal of mine since I first made the thread in the old forum, and I've chosen to alter the thread name this time around to reflect that it doesn't need to be works that I have exaltified. particularly good timing too, since I've been quite busy and unable to keep up with the rithym of new requests. With more people trying it should be easier to make the modifications fast enough.



Perhaps, as we define better our strong/weak points, people will then be able to ask for a specific "exaltificator" for their pic? Or sometime we can all try the same pic, just to compare results and share wich tricks each one used?



Anyway, this thread is even more fun now, I'll be back as soon as I can!



 

Finished one more, this time of a character I'll get to play, not as ST, for a change I've used this picture before, for someone's Earth Aspect in Black Jade armor, but it is a Dawn Caste this time. I also added some hearthstone sockets in the armor and weapon. Modified his Daiklave because it is a higher level artifact with more hearthstone sockets and an integrated essence cannon, similar to those found in Mountain Folk's Power Maces

This character is a southern First Age commander, so I darkened his skin, gave him red hair (he was born relatively near the Elemental Pole of Fire). He favors Survival, which explains why he doesn't need clothing appropriate for the scorching desert heat.

As a final touch of "I'm a badass solar", I added that cape he is using.







"Transplantation" is something I don't use very often, but can bring quite interesting results. Overall, this piece gave me a lot of work, but I think it was worth it.

I have to say you do top notch work. Incredible! Keep up the good work.

Question on the tattoos. What color do you start with, or do you blend them with something other than screen? That always makes it near-white for anything other than an extremely vibrant color.
