When they want to fly, they release these chemicals into the air which causes a powerful enough explosion (which sounds a lot like a fart) to launch themselves into the air. They can also use this as a weapon if they choose. Infrared Vision: Ass-Blasters have no eyes and no sense of hearing. However, they have a built in heat sensor and see in infrared. Their infrared vision is more detailed than the Shriekers’ and covers a wider area. Shriek: When they detect a heat source, Ass-Blasters let out a loud scream to alert any others in the area. While they cannot hear the scream, it emits a lot of heat that the others detect. Anyone else who hears the shriek is subject to a -2 penalty.

History: First appearing in the film Tremors 3, the Ass-Blasters are the third stage of life for this particular species of Titanspawn. Like Shriekers, Ass-Blasters have a bird-like body and legs ending in three-toed feet, and their feet have three slender black talons. They also have wings and a dorsal sail that extend down their bodies. Ass-blasters use these wings to glide through the air. In order to take off, they produce an explosion from their rear end, earning them their name. This is achieved by mixing two chemicals near their colon (by shaking their hind quarters). Also like the Shriekers, Ass-Blasters have a sensory organ that allows them to see in infrared. Unlike the Shriekers, who multiply after eating, Ass-Blasters fall into a coma after they eat a certain amount of food. They also carry a Graboid egg inside them.
Trophy: The flammable liquid inside the Ass-Blasters can, if not exposed to air, be gathered up and used later as a powerful explosive.

History: Formerly known as Dr. Jerry Fredericks and a Scion of Apollo, Athanas is in a role that he had not anticipated. He knew that Apollo pretty much had domain of health and medicine (among other things), but didn’t know he’d end up as the god of negotiation. He fell into this role because he spent the majority of his hero and demigod career serving as a mediator and negotiator for the arguments between James Wakuta and Hamilton Conner. Although the issue was never settled (he knows that even now that Hank/Hiroto is back to his old self that Hamilton/Aniketos still wants to kill him), he did prevent any major fights from breaking out between the two. He does give credit to Lillian Masterson, who helped him keep the two from killing each other. Since he has attained godhood, he has been assigned to various tasks that require negotiations to occur often succeeding with outstanding results. Although this doesn’t fall under his domain, Athanas has also become quite the robotics expert thanks to his studies of his reprogrammed Terminator. He has been able to replicate Cyberdyne’s technology and has even built two Terminators of his own. He has taught this skill to several of the lesser immortals who live within his sanctum and has even set up a Terminator factory within it.

History: Atimos, formerly known as Peter “Psycho Pete” Rogers, is the Dodekatheon’s new God of Selfishness and Dishonesty. Despite his newfound understanding of the significance of the war, Atimos remains as dishonest and selfish as ever. He will only do something another god tells him to do if there is something in it for him. There are three exceptions to this. If Zeus, Hera, or Ares tell him to do something he will do it. Mostly because he Ares always threatens to kill him if he doesn’t do it and he doesn’t want to piss off Zeus or Hera. Other than that, he doesn’t care about anything that doesn’t profit him in any way.

History: Atlas is the former dominant avatar of Ehekatoyaatl (he took over after Ouranos was castrated and was stripped of his dominant position due to the gods’ choice of punishment) and is one of the few Titan avatars who was not imprisoned. He was, however, charged with the task of holding the world on his shoulders as an alternative to Tartarus. Atlas has been holding up the world for millennia, knowing full well that every god of every pantheon will annihilate him if he should ever drop it. He briefly got to put it down for a while when he handed it to Hercules to get some golden apples from the garden, but when he tried to weasel out of taking it back was actually tricked by Hercules (who is not known for his intelligence) into taking it back. He was even briefly turned to stone (a state that lasted a couple of centuries) to ease his burden. His fellow avatars have not rescued him from his task mainly due to Huracan (who does not wish to give up his dominant position) insisting that he remain where he is (and that they simply don’t care to do so). So Atlas holds up the world, waiting for the chance to finally put it down and challenge Huracan for the position of dominant avatar of Ehekatoyaatl.

History: Axthauc is a Scion of Ares and the Dodekatheon’s new god of leadership. Formerly known as George Carter, Axthauc was a soldier in the army who had a special talent for strategy and proved to be a highly effective leader. He rose through the ranks faster than most people normally do and was a Colonel within only 10 years. As a Colonel, he proved that his leadership skills were truly remarkable, leading troops into battles with exceptionally high morale and often returning with minimal casualties. He was promoted to general shortly before his visitation. After discovering his true nature, his ability to lead improved immensely. He was the leader of his band (the others had now problem with this) and many of his troops have sworn complete loyalty to him and have accompanied him throughout his journey. Despite being part of the modern army, Axthauc prefers more medieval battle tactics. He would rather go toe to toe with a sword and shield than shoot at someone from far away. Axthauc is unusual among Scions as he was in his late forties when he received his visitation.

History: Balrogs are monstrous Titanspawn that live in Middle Earth. As seen in J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring, Balrogs are creatures of fire and shadow so it is unclear as to whether they are spawn of Muspelheim or Soku-No-Kumi. Vicious and highly dangerous, very few have encountered one and lived to tell about it. Fortunately, Balrogs are rare and are usually only found in the oldest depths of Middle Earth. There is a rumor that at least one (maybe two) has found its way into the World.
Trophy: When slain, the Balrog’s fire goes out, leaving behind a black coal-like corpse. If a chunk is taken off the corpse before it crumbles to dust it can act as a relic that grants access to the Chaos, Darkness, Earth, Fire, and War purviews.

Hyper Screech: Like bats, Bannock have the ability to use echolocation. However, the Bannock can turn this screech into a weapon. When a Bannock wants to use this ability, it simply screeches loudly at its intended victims and rolls its (Perception + Legend). Its victims are then staggered for a number of ticks equal to its successes, taking a penalty to all actions equal to half the successes rounded up. Those with Epic Perception suffer a worse effect. In addition to being staggered, they also take damage. The Bannock again rolls (Perception + Legend) and the victim takes a number of points of Bashing damage equal to the successes, mitigated by the victim’s soak. Being sound waves, this attack is both undodgeable and unparryable. Only the deaf are immune to it.

History: The Bannock is a species of Titanspawn that appears to be half man and half bat. They have a humanoid body, but they have the arms, wings, legs, and head of a bat. They are very quick and agile while in the air, but somewhat slow and clumsy on the ground. As such, they prefer to remain in the air and claw at their victims. Sometimes they fly up and bite a victim, but this leaves them vulnerable to attack so this attack is saved for when they think the victim is about to die. Perhaps their most dangerous attack is their hyper screech, which staggers its victims and causes damage to those with Epic Perception. Multiple uses add on to the time a victim remains staggered. Like bats, Bannock are nocturnal and can be found either alone or in large swarms. One Bannock is not too dangerous on its own (unless it uses Hyper Screech), but encountering several is a nightmare. They grow more dangerous the more that are there. Also, Bannock are not limited to Legend 2. They can vary along the Legend spectrum and there have been documented cases of god level Bannock. In addition, some Bannock have command over swarms of bats.
Trophy: The trophy of the Bannock is its fangs. It has two fangs and each one grants access to a single purview: one grants access to Animal (bats) and the other grants access to Darkness.

History: Made famous in the Mortal Kombat video game series, Baraka is the most well known of the Tarkata. Like every other member of his species he is hideously ugly with mouths full of razor sharp teeth. He is just as fierce of a warrior as any Tarkata. However, he interprets loyalty differently from the rest. Infamous as a turncoat, Baraka will serve his master loyally until his master is killed. Unlike the rest of his species, who remain loyal to their masters even after their masters’ deaths, Baraka will pledge his loyalty to the person or people who killed his master. As such, he is not trusted by the gods nor the Titans, but both will accept his services knowing that he will not betray them while they live. As of yet, Baraka has not sworn loyalty directly to a Titan as he has not met any of them and the same goes for the gods. He has, however, served under powerful Titanspawn and Scions.
Trophy: Baraka’s Arm Blades (using the base Spatha template) act as 5-dot relics with a +1 accuracy, +2 damage, -1 speed, and granting access to the War purview. His vest acts as a 2-dot relic granting access to the Fire and Moon purviews.

History: Made famous by the Batman comics, movies, and TV shows, Batman is actually a real person. In fact, he is a Scion of Horus. Interestingly, Horus is actually the original Thomas Wayne (Batman’s father), but created a mortal copy of himself when he had to return to the Overworld. After Batman’s parents were murdered, and Bruce Wayne had grown up, Horus revealed to him his true nature and his purpose. Having found the cave under his mansion and having several encounters with the bats that lived their, Bruce Wayne became Batman during his visitation when Horus presented him with the Batsuit and the Batmobile, which he left in the cave. Over the years, Batman has gone back and forth between being a solo crime fighter and having a side kick (solo between Robins, 4 of which have been with him).

History: Battra is a kaiju from the Godzilla series appearing in the film Godzilla and Mothra: The Battle for Earth and is basically an evil Mothra. Even as a larva, Battra is a vicious fighter and will not back down unless he feels that the fight is truly hopeless. Unlike Mothra, he does not need a cocoon to transform into adulthood, but will instead just change instantaneously.
