My only question is what exactly makes The Librarian a bad guy? How is he an antagonist?

((I think I'm starting to understand what constitutes a night horror.  In that case I had a few laying around I'll post them))

The Legend

Their is a legend in an old city in Panama about Juan Pablo.  He was a man that worked in a coffee bean field.  Nearly 100 years ago he died, he was killed by a group of roaming bandits for stopping them from making their little province pay protection money.  The bandits killed Juan Pablo and burned his coffee bean plants.  The very next month all the bandits ended up dismembered and disemboweled, most claim that it was Juan Pablo taking his revenge.  Now for 100 years every time this province comes under hard times people tend to see Juan Pablo sulking in the distance.  Now this province has become like a safe haven, no one with bad intentions every comes there from fear of the curse of Juan Pablo.

Anyone who has seen Juan Pablo, always sees him at night in the distance.  He is riding the same donkey that he had used to work his field, wearing a red and green parka, it is said you will catch a hint of sour milk when he passes though no one knows the significance of that.

What really happened

In truth Juan Pablo is a Promethan that was created after the first incident that killed him by a Tammuz.  Juan Pablo, came back wrong when he was created.  He can't talk, and remembers one things about his old life, he loved his coffee bean field.  The Promethan that created him released him into the world after he was created, and Pablo did the Furies and laid waste to the men that killed him.    Juan Pablo first remade his donkey, and in a short time Pablo attempted to rebuild his coffee beans but he found that it was useless, and that nothing could grow around him, so he took to Centimentary in his tormented state.  Now he is so twisted that his body is physically fused to the donkey, and they are deformed perversions of what they used to look like.  He loves nothing but his bean crop, and his Tammuz dedication allows him to fixate on it.  Juan Pablo goes to the waste, he sinks into the ground and sleeps, but rises randomly in the year to check on the progress of his bean crops, and makes sure that someone is tending it, and that no one is hindering the process.  If he finds that everything is fine he sinks back into the dirt going back to the wastes and sleeping, he doesn't want to hurt the harvest with his presence, but if things are out of place he finds a covert way to put it back in place without drawing to much attention to himself

Here's another one I had laying around.

A Galatea with an inferiority complex makes friends with people over the internet.  He began to become so obsessed with the notion of friends that he never wanted to log off, never wanted to sleep, he never wanted to leave the dank basement he had.  So he made himself an Imaginal Friend ((A clone of his personality transmutation)) out of his computer.  He firebranded, and firetouch animated metal hands, then permanently infused it with life so his cloned personality could use them to type.  With his personality close to a computer even when he was away he could stay in touch with his friends, but after spending a long stretch of time away, upon returning to his Computer his own personality grew jealousy of it's creator taking away time from him.

It started with the computer not letting him access Web sights, then it turned into full blown hate.  The Galatea struck back, first by attempting to pour a one liter bottle of mountain dew into his computer, but he found that didn't work.  He went to put find a crowbar to destroy his creation, but it called the police on him and got him arrested as a child molester, changing his records to make it seem legal.  From there the computer does not know where his creator is.  The computer uses identity theft, to pay for the basement it's located in and currently it has somehow called to pandorans to live in the house as statues so no promethans can enter namely his alter ego.

the problem with that computer things is that the rule book stats that Prometheans need to keep their Imaginary friend alive by spending a point of Pyos every 24 hours. So how would it survive?

The computers origins to me were landing in the who gives a shit pile.  Yeah, like Reinfield said it's unfleshed :).   Never used it in play though.  I don't really like thinking that I can't do something until someone else thinks to create it, so long as it fits the theme I will make villains back histories specialized and anomalous.

Published rules mean less work for me, but yeah, i don't mind thrashing something together.
course the other option is it may have become a gremlin (an unfleshed pandoran) then it may have consumed the galatied that sparked it.
or a gremlin like the ones presented in midnight roads and, erm, antagonists is it?

I really hadn't thought on the mechanics of the web creature, I just thought that the use of imaginal friend was so minor that you could pretty much use any explanation for why it gets it's own consciousness.  Promethan is all about inanimate objects gaining intelligence, I think I like your unfleshed concept for it's official explanation of what mechanically happened.

how about he is a gremlin, and he uses the internet to locate and lure Prometheans to him.
and feeds on any who stumble into his lair.
of course, other pandorans have noticed this and congregate around the area.
like a Promethean honey trap.

but that would mean the Gremlin has a source of Azoth to keep it from going dormant.

your thinking of Pyros. While they need to feed off of Pyros, all Pandorans (and Gremlins are Pandorans) need Azoth to keep them animated.

Anyway, what we need is someone who can help us create an image for each of the characters when we're done. Plus, we can vote on which ones we want to make into the final cut.  I have a few more characters up my sleave.

Renfield286:

and i think they said a mage one May be in the works.
Unbidden.

Hmmmmm. Off the top of my head:

The Stillborn
You think you know suffering? You know nothing.

The Fire permeates all things alive. But sometimes, especially during Firestorms, it is forced, unwilling, into the dead. Perhaps it is a shade, recently departed, creeping towards the banks of the Styx. Perhaps it is one of the hunters in the night which call themselves the Kindred. Perhaps it is nothing more than a corpse. It doesn't matter; the Fire transforms, and makes of it a body. In the case of the Extempore, such an event could flush out the death and bring in life - Promethean or Pandoran. However, they have an even darker cousin: the Stillborn.

The curse of the Stillborn is threefold:

Firstly: They shall have no rest. Stillborn may never sleep, though they still tire: sleep is for the living.
Second: They shall have no pleasure. Stillborn gain no pleasure from the flesh; they eat, and it is ashes in their mouth, they drink and it is vinegar. Again: the flesh is for the living.
Thirdly: They shall not die. The Stillborn have died once, and the burning essence of Life has claimed that death; they may not die again. This is the most terrible curse of the three; make no mistake, the Stillborn pray every day for death.

Why, then, are these wretched things a threat to Prometheans? Simple. Because when the Flame burns brighter, just for a moment, they are alive again.

The Stillborn have the following Promethean-like traits:
Azoth: All Stillborn have an Azoth of 1. They do not, however, have a humour, nor do they regenerate Pyros, nor may they forge Pacts, although their Azoth still calls to Azoth.
Pyros: All Stillborn have a Pyros pool of 10.
Transhuman Potential
Humanity
Azothic Furnace: When Stillborn eat, it is simply consumed immediately by the Flame, rather than being digested.

They have the following additional traits:
Undying. When a Stillborn's health track is filled with aggravated damage, they don't die: they just suffer. No matter how utterly destroyed they are, it takes no more than a week for the kernel of their being to regenerate the skeleton of their limbs, torso and head (healing the last box of agg) and get them moving again.
Devour Flame: A Stillborn may, at touch range, rip out Pyros from a Promethean by rolling Presence+Larceny against Resolve+Azoth, at 1 pyros per success (an intensely painful process). By devouring a Promethean alive they also devour their Azoth, and gain a single Azoth point (which is held in a special pool).
Hunger: A Stillborn must roll Resolve+Composure to avoid attempting to steal Pyros when it is available if they have no points of Pyros in their pool.
Flush of life: A Stillborn may spend 1 pyros to overcome the first and second curse for a single minute. At the end of this time, they must roll their Humanity to avoid developing a new temporary derangement from the anguish of returning to their normal state.
Divine Moment: A Stillborn may, by reflexively spending a point of Azoth, overcome the curse entirely for a single turn, though they cannot focus to do so while suffering from wound penalties.
