I loved the name so much that I read the whole thing.  On the name.... beyond awesome.  I liked the concept, I just wanted to know why they're called Stillborn I didn't catch that.

they need a weakness though, an Achilles heel i you will. Even the Exemtpore can be killed i permanently if it were killed over a body of water and not on dry land where it was created.

Wideband and the Stillborn...

They rock.

Kingme1 has a point though; there should be a way to dispose of the Stillborn.  Even if it's as rare as being killed during the course of another Firestorm, in parallel to their creation.

I think that it would be fitting if the stillborn where vulnerable to being killed when they burn stolen Azoth to temporarily alleviate their cursed state.  For that brief time that they are not suffering they are truly mortal again, and can be killed if enough damage is done before the curse takes effect again.  Perhaps a stillborn could be convinced to take its own life under such circumstances.

I had the Men in Black somewhat in mind when I wrote them up: the whole point is you can't beat them. You can best them, or stall them (they don't have your superlative endurance, or your transmutations, after all) but you can't destroy them (although after a few years in that state most will willingly kill themselves).

Perhaps, in a strange twist of fate, the Created would need to go to their hated enemies, the Pandorans, for the one true way to kill the Stillborn. These creatures have Pyros and a single point of Azoth, so either creating a trail for the Pandorans to follow to a Stillborn for them to devour or making with a deal with a Siblamatus to steal the Divine Fire from the creature could extinguish the life of such an exotic individal. But making the creatures of Flux, espically the Siblamatti (spelling, I know) willingly attack the Stillborn and not you instead, would be a changelling prospect indeed.

I think that them not being able to be killed would be awesome.  If I were to give them a weakness, I'd probably say that they have certain things that can't do, like maybe they can't kill certain things, or holy symbols ward them off, or when they are all the way destroyed and they reassemble they come back slightly weaker and have to relearn things it would go with the river styx dealie of losing your memory

what if they can not be killed, but contained, like the Pandorans, they go dormant if they gain too much power, or get close to mortality, and become inert for a year or more before they go back down to previous levels. That way, the curse continues, we have a way to contain them if one ever went homicidal.

Now that has potential. Or indeed the Azothic Furnace transmutation.

Mr. Smile

"Wounderful propostion you have, but I am afraid you time is up . .  . No,don't bother running, Ive locked the door."

Fortune 500 companies have looked to the illusive CEO of one of the newest Bio teck companies that has made several breakthroughs in stem cell and cloning technology. What was once a new kid on the block following the financial crash of 08 has become the guiding light in newer, more tech savvy businesses from those who are sweeping away the rubble on a down economy and forging anew golden age.
The reason that Mr Samlock has never, or only rarely viewed from inside his several small headquarters in the Midwest is that he isn't human, never was, and never will be. He's a Sublimati.
When a Promethean, deep in the power of flux, had spent years of melding the baser creatures that were her Pandoran pets, one of them was just that much smarter and tougher than the rest. So when the day came that he saw the world anew through intellegent eyes, he knew that his place at the bottom of the food chain was over.
Taking his former master hostage, Mr. Smile began to suck up information about the world. No iece of knowledge was off limits and he began to get the idea that just surviving was enough, but rise up in power, both physical and metaphorical. Those who have power are strong, and better to survive the slings and arrows of the harsh world.
Flash forward to a decade ago and te Created who had been under the leash of the Mockery was discovered by a strggeling teck company making the most of the dot com bust at the end of the 20th century. . . .
more on this wen I have the time tomorrow. to be continued.

freak chance encounter with a group trafficking on bodies  used in medical experiments kidnapped the Mockery's Promethean slave to a central Bio tech lab. They didn't cover their tracks well enough and were tracked by something in the shadows. The board of directors, when they discovered what they had, immediately knew that this being could be the key to a whole new revolution in medicine, hell, of science. But the poor souls never got the chance.
The Mockery burst into the lab, able to appear in front of the terrified humans by his close proximity with the Created, and  subsequently turned the large operating room into a bloodbath. The Sublimitaus gave the survivors a one time offer: work for it and use their scientific knowledge to delve into the secrets of the Divine Fire, under it's guidence, and  they woul life. Plus the recogniion for their work.
For the Past decade now, the company has branches extending from Silicon Vally to the hidden cornerrs of Dubi, in the Middle East. Advancements in Stem Cell techology and tissue fabrication have recieved lauded prace from many a nobel laurets. And behind it all is an inhuman nightmare watching and growing in understand behind it fortified bunker/lair/board room in central Navada . . . . and behind it is a Struggeling Creater who biding herr time to make her escape, and revenge.
Appearence:
While posessing the needed Transmutations that allow Mr. Smile to pass undetected by the human herd, when it truly lets loose  Flux horror stands before all who are present. True to it name, Mr. Smile has a large vulpine mouth that stretches across it's entire horse-face making it protrude out slightly. Two skeletal holes  stand in for its nose and long black hair that trails along its back writhe like black snakes. Tall, gaunt, with a brownish green skin with extra long fingers that bend in any direction.
But it's Mr. Smile's eyes that are the most disturbing, or rather, its lack of eyes. Instread, two puss dripping holes like sphincters take the place of eyes. Iit is a nightmare that smiles.
