Online play by post games

Update took a little longer than I expected, but the Hunting Grounds are back up.  If anyone is ever interested in a tour, send me an email offlist or a PM here.  My email is the same as my user name here, just at gmail.

Does anyone have any objection if I link their game on my site?  The way I figure it, we're all in this together, and a little linking might result in some cross-pollenization.  I can also include a short blurb with the link, if anyone would care to provide one.

Hi, kind of new to the forums obviously, but I happened to see this and I am always looking for new players.

My board is officially called Rage Across Texas, though don't let the name fool you. While it originally started as a werewolf game, we are now taking on vampires, mortals, hunters and the like. I would like to welcome anyone who would like to take a look at it to do so, and feel free to link it to any site that lists Play by Post boards.

Nice tread. I run a Vampire the Dark Ages game over at http://thealistgroup.com/phpBB3/ucp.php?i=pm&folder=inbox It is still looking for players, there are several other games on that site as well, though you have to get approval by Ninja or Reaper or admins to make an account as we have had some problems with idiots. However of you tell them you are there to game then there is no problem getting an account and the people on the site are generally quite nice.

Hey all, I have an old WoD site opening up on July 1st. We host (currently) Vampire and Changeling (Mortals may be played as well in either venue). We have a WoD dice roller, chat, forums, character submissions forms, and experience forms.

The site is based in New Orleans, present day. It is a Camerilla held city, Independants are allowed as well. We are not currently allowing Sabbat just yet, not until the player base gets a bit larger, but Sabbat PCs will be allowed to enter the game in the near future.

As I stated, the site will be going live on July first and I do still have a few things left to set up, but I wanted to inform those who may be interested ahead of time.

Where do your STs live?

Currently all three Sts live in Florida. However, I would like to be able to open up the other old WoD venues. I just don't have STs for them yet.

Even though we are on EST, we are aware of players in other time zones. We are conscious of the fact that not everyone is able to post and be on when we are.

Currently the STs are located in many different time zones.

I (HST) Live in Texas and am on Central time. Being a professional writer I am always available for post spamming, since I am suffering writer's block (lol)
Darkmoon (HST) Is currently deployed to a hospital in Iraq and is available for post spamming session 2 to 3 times a week... (he works two days and then is off one)
Talon (Ast St for werewolves) Lives in Arizona and is currently on Pacific time.
Helskore (Combat ST) is also deployed to Iraq... but comes on as often as he can.

Our forums only consist of 4 cities/towns at the moment because that is all we need. But the game does in fact span the whole state of Texas. We will add more as we need them. But it is a very active game. There is usually at least 1 post per player per day. I would also like to say as we add more players I want to add more STs so I am always accepting applications for both. Anyone interested can get my email off my visitors message. We are doing this as we have had problems with idiots also. :)

Do you allow Antitribu characters?

That depends on the Antitribu. Are you referring to the Sabbat? Or the Anitribu associated with the Cam that used to associate with Sabbat or Anarchs?

This is a VTM game set in the 1920s. We pretty much dont have enough people, we started off with a decent number but about half have dissapeared before the game started. ST is in the USA and has erratic posting schedules because his job is an oncall security guard. It would be great if we could get an additional ST in the aussie timezone because most of the players are in that time zone.

Just out of curiosity (if anyone here knows) how in demand is OWoD as opposed to NWoD? I also have a NWoD site that is currently hopping and I was just wondering if there was any hope for my OWoD site or if I was working on a pipe dream. :)

If im not wrong NWOD should be more popular because its more recent...but owod still has a lot goign for it, especially in the fluff department.
