Online play by post games

I'm running a pbp game as well, although not sure how to qualify it in the NWOD/OWOD split:

The game is placed in Prague, Dark Ages, in the OWOD plot. However, we play on the NWOD sheets/system.

The scope of the campaign is a trip through the metaplot of OWOD as well as world history events from the 13th century to modern age Gehenna. We're currently in year 1241. We're taking a few liberties and exceptions, because it takes a dedicated historian to follow the metaplot AND history from start to finish with complete accuracy, not to mention pesky players have a way of changing how everything happened!

The current plan is to follow three semi-disjointed episodes, Prague from 1200 to 1500 (Dark Ages episode), London from 1800 to1900 (Victorian Age episode) and New York for the End Nights (Masquerade episode).  I say semi-disjointed because the plot from one episode doesn't connect directly to the other, but events from the previous chapter will surely carry over to the new.

NOTE: To register you will be asked a question to which the answer is "between two castles" - reason to this is that I am quite comfortable with my weight and size of my organ, from what I gathered so are the rest of my players, so we didn't need really have any use for offers on how to improve either.

Well, I've always wanted to play a Tzimisce Antitribu but haven't found a ST that would be willing to allow it.  Is it something you would consider?

Well, depending on what his motives are would dpend on the consideration. Also it would depend on whether you were planning on taking Koldunic Sorcery.

If you would like to give me the character con cept, I can give you a flat yes or no answer.

Definitely no Koldunic Sorcery, it'd be a straight create from the basic book, with possibly a little Guide to the Camarilla insight here and there.  I try to make my characters simple.  I'm going to PM you with a rough concept (if I can figure out the PM system on here) and we can see where we go from there.  Pardon me for not posting it up here, but if it gets accepted, I'd rather that others who may be playing find out in game.

That sounds great and very logical. So far though, I don't see a problem or a reason why it cannot be done. Looking forward to that PM> :)

Both of us are in Ireland, so GMT.

Kidding aside, with the sleeping schedule we carry we're pretty flexible to pretty much any time zone though - they are just that messed up.

One of us works pretty much perma-nightshift, while I work normal 9-5 on GMT. However, with my magical habit of sleeping two hours (8PM-10PM) and then four (4PM-8AM) nightly my coverage is pretty wide. I'm online pretty much every waking minute, even though at the office I may be way slower replying, predictably enough.

EDIT: It means however that you'll be way off with the rest of players, so it may make things way too slow for you.

Yes, it is a great place to advertise your game, however the site requires an Admin to accept your registration and that seems to either take a long time or not happen at all. I attempted to register quite some time ago and still have not heard anything back. Is there something I may have done wrong?

I find it interesting that i still have not been able to find a single world of darkenss game, either new or old, with a single aussie time zone player in it.

We have a member of our troupe in Australia.  Drop Micheal Lawson a line.  He'll let ya know.

I wonder how he deals with the timezone issue. I was in a mostly US game, and plots were impossible to get involved in, even when it was shoved into my face.

Heres an example : I went with another character to investigate a possible sabbat mass embrace. All is fine, then i have to leave as its late(but its still early in the US). While im gone, the other guy finishes up the investigation of the scene, and then goes back to court with his findings.

By the time i came back i was still at the scene, while there was a 5 page thread of the rest of the court talking about tracking down the sabbat and dealing with the problem.

Needless to say despite me being at the scene as part of the initial investigators, my character achieved absolutely nothing.

Blood sport, where do you live?

Oh, I wondered what happened to your character.  I guess there are some things that can't be overcome.  It's a shame really, I quite liked the character too.  Hope you find something soon.
