Athanors: The Redeemed (Forum book?)

Well now we know there will be NO further Promethean books, so I feel we (as a Forum group) write this book together. 


What are Athanors to you?  What makes them a good z-splat?  What ideas can we come up with?

What about making our own Night Horrors threat? I tried doing one  while back but there doesn't seem to be much interest in it anymore.

Well, I'm still interested in working on the Night Horrors book, but I don't havr my own internet anymore, so my ability to do anything online is severely diminished.

Icarus - Flight (Galatea)

Icarus wanted to fly so his father made him wax wings. A Promethean who learns this tale can do it one better.  Prometheans who develop the Icarus Athanor can Fly with no wings. Most Prometheans who develops this Athanor are dreamers at heart.  The Promethean wants to see the world from above looking down.  Freedom from the earth.

Trait Affinities: Dexterity, Athletics

Promethean Boon: The Promethean can fly with no wings.  To fly, the Promethean must spend 1 Reagent to fly his Azoth + 1 times his normal speed for the scene. Fancy tricks in the air might require a Dexterity + Athletics roll.  Dramatic Failures end with the Promethean losing control and falling.  Each scene requires a Reagent to maintain flight.  If the Promthean runs out of Reagent for whatever reason, he will find out that his fall will be the same as Icarus.  Devastating.  Normal rules for falling still apply.

Redeemed Boon:  The Redemeened finds himself still able to fly, but at a greater cost.  Flying for the scene requires a Willpower dot.
