So what game line is after geists

I always felt like Demon: The Fallen was the first sourcebook to inform the "born/faction" 5x5 core of the new line. It was also the most morally gray game, playing something angelic but hated by angels and demons alike. So much of that game echoes the current stuff, it's creepy.

I sincerely hope they're revamping it. Mighty rich mythology to play with.

The Hunter core book includes the first half of a five by five splat.

How about Alien?  or I Married a Monster from Outer Space or Invasion of the Body Snatchers or even the upcoming new V series?

Thus far, all the various monsters and characters are very much of the earthly realm, whether that realm is physical or spiritual.  Vampires are dead humans raised up and nourished by human blood.  Werewolves are half-human, half-wolf-spirit.  Mages are humans who learn the "cheat codes" to the universe.  Prometheans are made from the bodies of dead humans and seek to become humans in truth.  Changelings are humans who have been altered by mystical means.  Hunters are humans, occasionally strange humans, but still humans.  Sin-eaters are humans who've made a pact with a Geist (which is itself partly a human ghost).

What about doing a game featuring people who are part human and part something... Not of this earth?  Something Alien.

Classic movie monsters that haven't yet been included in the nWoD:

Aliens (This is a faultline for the fans that usually causes controversy, so I won't say more.  Changeling covered this a little)
Swamp-Beasts (There's an excellent untapped setting in the nWoD, the deeps of the ocean.  An aquatic-based template would be unique if nothing else)
Giant Insects (Good god no!)
Demons (They touched on this in Inferno, but from what I heard [I don't have that supplement] there were several gaps that could be improved with a template book)
The Reanimated Dead (Necromancers can make mindless servants from corpses, but those servants have no real ambition or intelligence.  Geist covers reanimation, but they do not fight with the decay associated with inhabiting a dead body [As far as I know, not to that template yet].  There's enough content between the two to create another template, though probably not a full-fledged one like the limited lines)
Communists! (Just kidding!)

Is CCP working on any of these?  Probably not.  I think both the publishers and the fans need a break from new templates for a while, if only to catch our breath.

EDIT:  Huh, somebody's already made a fan supplement for Swamp-Beasts.  I'll have to check that out.

Or it could just be World of Darkness: Dark Ages.

A fan-made game called Genius: The Transgression.  Despite a few quirks, it is a wonderfully written game about the awesomeness and sorrow of being a mad scientist.

I know! Since the letters "RE BORN" appear to be fully lit by the spotlight in the advertisement, it's some kind of "Reborn" thing! Genius!
