The Madness...

With just over a week since classes ended and no job I looked forward to the downtime when I could write. Games. Stories. Whatever. It's been days I've sat at my computer trying to produce something. Anything. It's not coming. I have basically 3 games I should write for but my gaming schedule is so inconsistent that I don't know when the next episode is and I put it off and put it off and I loose the story over time.

I fear I will go mad. I need a story to write.

So I turn to the internet in the hopes that maybe I can piece together a game be it Play By Post or Skype. Probably Play By Post since it's more convienant. I fear the idea of trying to arrange a confrence Skype call with more than two or three people.

So a bit about me as a storyteller. I'm really laid back. My motto is "If you got an interesting story to tell, rules shall not get in the way"! I'm strict on one front; you have to give me a character. Not dots on a page. Not a psychopathic killing machine with no friends or family. Like a loner gang banger (since that's contradictory) or Riddick. Your character shall not be entirely passive scenery until initiative is rolled. In my games there are plenty of opportunity for combat, and you don't need to be a twinked out super soldier to survive. I don't kill players. I absolutely detest the Player vs. Storyteller style of gaming. Play true to your character and make the game interesting, and the sessions will be a shit-ton of fun.

So lately I've stepped away from the World of Darkness, first with a
Golden Age Mutants and Masterminds game, then into Firefly/Serenity
world. But I'm definititely looking to get back into it.

So, anyone interested?
