Yeah, I'm talking about Gargoyles from the core book. I always liked them. I made up rules for making them before the Crone book came out: wanna see them? Yeah? Ritual: Create Gargoyle (Cruac 5/Theban Sorcery 5) The vampire animates a statue to create a Gargoyle, as per the Vampire core book. That's all.

It should be noted that the chap who wrote "Let the Right One In" also wrote the screenplay for the film, and I think he was wise enough to know the difference between the two media, and what worked better in each of the two. Suffice to say: great book, great film. Has no one mentioned J Sheridan LeFanu's "Carmilla" or Ray Bradbury's

We did actually have a Manananggal write-up in the drafts. It got cut because it was too much like the Penanggal. To be honest, you could keep the systems as they are and change the way you describe them. They're pretty abstract.
