There are many versions of Dracula according to the Ordo Dracul source book but the real Count would look something like this or this (Since there could be a possiblity that the founder of the Ordo Dracul could be actually the Impaler's Father which would make the name "Dracul" a whole lot sense....)

Perhaps one answer I would provide is to have the progenitors of vampirism being umbral spirits that crossovered into our world taking a physical shape/form from human belief systems and maybe perhaps having the Methuselahs actually being the first human vampires while the Antediluvans/The Progenitors are actually not human but rather umbral spirits
