I wasn't really doing "worse", just very damn busy. Still am even. One full time "relationship. One full time gaming 1-on-1 GURPS game. One full time effort at maintaining mental health. Plus a general degradation of memory and brain function... which is accelerating.

Way back when gasoline/petrol cost only about $.06 to $.08 per gallon there were the first "price wars". In those days adding a penny per gallon was a big deal and thus the stations started doing the whole "percentage of a penny" so as to appear more cheap than the neighboring station.
