• Re: Mage tarot cards

Based on the fact that I paid $34.99 for them, and knowing roughly what the exchange rate rate is, I would think that is to much. I would imagine closer to 15 or 16 pounds. Just a guess though. Other than that, I would highly suggest them. They are beautiful and well made with a durable plastic coating to facilitate much use.

Keep in mind that all lesser magic, be it thaumaturgy, psychic phenomenon, gutter magic, demonic pacts, or what have you are all simply part of the Lie and the Labyrinth .

There is always a bit of Lovecraft in all of my games.

  • Re: Alien Invasion in NWoD

I would love to run a game like this myself. I too would probably go with the alternate dimension idea, using an idea similar to that in The Authority and Planetary, which are great graphic novels. I would have something very similar to the Bleed which bisects not only the real world, but if I did use supernaturals, then it would bisect the Hedge, Shadow

And Prometheans that make the journey to humanity and retain their memories [As rare as that may be] would also leave ghosts. Death really is the great equalizer, and anyone that has a focus on the Underworld can in theory pick up
When a person becomes a Sin -Eater are the initiated into the WoD, how much does the geist know about what lies in the darkness Im interested in how they interact with other things that deal with the dead and spirits
Probably about as much as a vampire knows about werewolves, or a werewolf knows about mages,

  • Re: Favorite Player Character

I only got to play oWoD for one session (I was usually the Storyteller) that a friend of a friend invited us too. He let me play a delusional person (who may have been a Mage but I don't really know, didn't get that far) who thought he was Kevin Matchstick, complete with white bat. I was fell in with a few vamps after saving them from a Weaver
The Storytelling system is just too "poorly designed" for such utilization...snip
I really have to disagree here. I played GURPS for roughly 15 years, and yes, it can do anything, but is very, very rules (i.e. math, numbers, die rolling) heavy. I would say that I can run any kind of game I want with
Definitely. Especially since what you describe is exactly why I would consider them metaphysically connected (and the opposition you describe is why I'd have plasm costing vitae).
An interesting thought true enough. I still wouldn't do it myself, but definitely interesting.
