well in vampire,for me its stupid to raise a discipline over 5(the only way to be sure about not losing a level 6+ power is not to fall in torpor ever or to get help from some bloodlines and again only in one skill or something like that) what most players must understand about disciplines(in vampire this is)is that the true power is on devotions combined

some times people ask, ok how the hell all those supers exist in the same world and there is the masquarade that almost every game has. and since in every story most of us put a lot of vampires npcs and stuff thats a good question :P so lets go and star writing numbers :P ill start Vampires so there is that analogy that says 1/100k and in over population

btw i dont think that yoi can use those books to determine if the ground exist for them to be major lines.since those books are addons to the game.you are bying immortals or inferno to have something as a starting point for demons and immortals,i do that because i trust the writers in WW if it was an other company i dont think i would buy so easily

i think its something they do so the "mortal" aka 'wod only core book" players have a lot of options,i mean before hunter you had the antagonist book to make them as a minor template and before geist you could make playable ghosts,hell even promethean you had the imbued(dont remember if the name correct)so for me is No they dont think

well the normal diciplines are something that the blood of every vampire the bloodline disciplines are things that are totally connected to the bloodline vampire thats why they have more weaknesses and stuff.outside of rp reasons,the main reason is not to make a character a munchin :P also if the st let you have them you can have them :P
