I also seem to remember reading that a spirits stat categories were the culmination of the three "normal" stats that comprise the category. So, as an example, Power is made of Intelligence, Strength, and Presence. A human with Intelligence 3, Strength 3, and Presence 2 would equate to Power 8. Not that a Spirit with Power 8, if broken down

Except it is.
something i wasn't thinking of earlier while typing this is the fact that what i said is a real world fact, but this is a game where many things of that nature don't function quite as properly
With the bear example, sure. Most handgun calibers won't put a bear down. But against a human? No. It's

I think a person charging you isn't going to throw your aim off much. I know there's a merit for having seen combat... drawing a blank on name, book, and exact effect though. That being said, I could see a Res+Com roll or something to keep your cool if someone's charging you... but I don't see it being that bad, because sighting in on

Well, Prometheans have a refinement that focuses on the physical, yes, but it's not the organized grouping of like minded individuals dedicated to ass-kickery that the other Splats have. That being said, get a group of Ferrum and Centimani together, and it's gonna be a tough fight.

Prometheans are never to be underestimated... They may not have a formal group dedicated to ass-kickery, but all you really need to do is piss some of them off. When resistance stats count as double (+ power stat rating), any of your physical skills can have Rote Action, you can raise certain stats above 5 even at a power stat of 1, you could potentially

Plus, there's the issue of weapon sizes not really matching up. Find me a size 3 weapon, it's noteably smaller overall than a size 3 person. Same with a size 4 weapon, and a size 4 person. A spear is, while long, substantially smaller than a young teen (which, based on existing categories, is roughly what a size 4 person should be). And don't

So, Kung Fu 4 is that broken? First, as the attacker, you have to have a high strength AND dex AND brawl to make this tactic very impressive. It can rather easily be reigned in by having a high defense and some decent armor. Your Kung-Fu Ninja Assassin gets a base -5 or -6 to each attack, in addition to the -1 for additional attacks. After all, it's

Now, Rote Action plus 8 Again, THAT'S hard core. Wait, I had a Promethean with that... oh yeah...

I've always wondered about a world where Hunters did their jobs so thoroughly, especially Network 0 and TFV, that it changed the dynamic of everything. The world knows about the paranormal and supernatural. They believe. And they aren't happy. I hate to draw the comparison, but... Supernaturals (of all kinds, from a lowly Second Sight psychic
