• Re: Where is your Atlantis?

I use Blunt Vorpal's method... That said Christian A comes up with the kind of thing I'd go for if I wanted Atlantis to be real.

If the guy has any of the apparent self-loathing of his immediate family then you probably wouldn't have to threaten him. Blackmail threats probably wouldn't work as the connection is pretty thin anyway.
likewise, if Fate has such a big influence, a cell of Hunters beats a Eldar Vampire, it is not because of their tactics or creatively in skills but rather that they were simply Fated to do so.
Both are possible. It's fated the hunters would train hard enough to be able to win. I'd say that's true of everything.

You could continue that line of reasoning along a bit. Wisdom is fairly arbitrary afterall, maybe it's the Exarchs doing? Maybe Mages morality itself is just a contruction to trap them.
The way I see it about Mage's horror is that it has a greater tendency to be subtext,
That's kinda what I was trying to say. The horror isn't nessecarily obvious until you actually look into it. The big example I can think of is the awakening itself, mages assume it's a good thing (unless they're banishers) and generally

I think there's something to Apocrypha's post. Although the books occasionally do put horror into it, mostly it doesn't, and even then rarely on the same level as vampire or changeling. You can still add that kind of horror very easily.

What do you mean by "earthly"?

I'd expect an Ice tamer legacy to be more about negatively controlling heat than simply having magical dominion over frozen water; which though it might look cool seems ultimately rather limiting. As for the original question. No not really. All we were given were a few names in passing, it's not like there was a really inspired idea hinted
Magic: Magic is not the mystic forces as people think but rather the concentration of energy around us. It is controlled through willpower, shaping the energy. Science has proven that if you look at an atom, you inflence another, and so forth. Magic is the act of forcing the atoms to behave the way you want to.
That only explains matter
